Worship: For Heaven’s Sake The great prophet Elijah succumbed to the threat of the woman Jezebel and fled to a cave on Mount Horeb. That is not where God wanted him to be. It was a place of weakness and not the vantage ground the Lord wanted him to occupy. There was still work left undone for God. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, discussed herbs that are particularly good for women. These herbs help help heal diseases of the reproductive system. (Read more below.)

Special Prayer was offered for a live call-in listener: 0585. Pray that her faith increases and that her family comes to personally know Christ. Also pray for another one of our listeners who is in excruciating pain and another who is being attacked on her job to try and get her fired, so she is told. Prayers are needed.

Words of Encouragement
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.

For Heaven’s Sake…
God asked, “What doest thou here, Elijah? I sent you to the brook Cherith and afterward to the widow of Sarepta. I commissioned you to return to Israel and to stand before the idolatrous priests on Carmel, and I girded you with strength to guide the chariot of the king to the gate of Jezreel. But who sent you on this hasty flight into the wilderness? What errand have you here?PK 168.1
“Calling upon the prophet to leave the cave, the angel bade him stand before the Lord on the mount, and listen to His word. ‘And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: and after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave.’PK 168.3
“Not in mighty manifestations of divine power, but by ‘a still small voice,’ did God choose to reveal Himself to His servant. He desired to teach Elijah that it is not always the work that makes the greatest demonstration that is most successful in accomplishing His purpose. While Elijah waited for the revelation of the Lord, a tempest rolled, the lightnings flashed, and a devouring fire swept by; but God was not in all this. Then there came a still, small voice, and the prophet covered his head before the presence of the Lord. His petulance was silenced, his spirit softened and subdued. He now knew that a quiet trust, a firm reliance on God, would ever find for him a present help in time of need.PK 168.4
“It is not always the most learned presentation of God’s truth that convicts and converts the soul. Not by eloquence or logic are men’s hearts reached, but by the sweet influences of the Holy Spirit, which operate quietly yet surely in transforming and developing character. It is the still, small voice of the Spirit of God that has power to change the heart.PK 169.1
“Of families, as of individuals, the question is asked, ‘What doest thou here?’ In many churches there are families well instructed in the truths of God’s word, who might widen the sphere of their influence by moving to places in need of the ministry they are capable of giving. God calls for Christian families to go into the dark places of the earth and work wisely and perseveringly for those who are enshrouded in spiritual gloom. To answer this call requires self-sacrifice. While many are waiting to have every obstacle removed, souls are dying, without hope and without God. For the sake of worldly advantage, for the sake of acquiring scientific knowledge, men are willing to venture into pestilential regions and to endure hardship and privation. Where are those who are willing to do as much for the sake of telling others of the Saviour? PK 172.2″
Indeed, why are you here?

For Health’s Sake…
Conditions that plague the reproductive system of women stem from an imbalance of hormones, and that is where the healing must begin: balancing the hormones. Blessed thistle is a single herb that is highly recommended for balancing hormones. Red rasberry, which aids conception, is another. Times of Refreshing’s Hormone Balancing Formula contains both blessed thistle and red raspberry and can be ordered by calling in a special request, until it is available to be ordered directly from the online store.
Times of Refreshing also has a Canswer2More Tea/Tonic, which provides nutrition for the body and helps shrink cancerous and fibroid tumors. Pau d’arco tea and graviola also help shrink tumors. Pau d’arco is also an antifungal, which addresses those cancerous tumors that have a fungal core. For pain from fibroid tumors and pain during PMS, herbs used preferably in tincture form are recommended: valerian and white willow bark. (Tinctures that contain alcohol may be placed in hot water to dissipate the alcohol before use.) Shepherds purse and cayenne are excellent particularly for healing bleeding fibroids.
Black cohosh is highly recommended for menopausal women suffering with hot flashes and dryness. TOR’s Estrogen Formula contains black cohosh.
We have been given this divine message of healing:
“The only hope of better things is in the education of the people in right principles. Let physicians teach the people that restorative power is not in drugs, but in nature. Disease is an effort of nature to free the system from conditions that result from a violation of the laws of health. In case of sickness, the cause should be ascertained. Unhealthful conditions should be changed, wrong habits corrected. Then nature is to be assisted in her effort to expel impurities and to re-establish right conditions in the system. MH 127.1″
