Worship: For Heaven’s Sake It was an agnostic, turned Baptist farmer, who left the plow to preach the gospel, that discovered the key to unlock the mysteries of the sanctuary message. In his search for truth, William Miller found God, who revealed to him how the Bible explains itself with an airtight permanent seal. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that you can ward off flu and other illnesses by daily exercising, eating garlic, sipping elderberry, sipping vegetable broth without animal products, and taking probiotics. The immune system is strengthened by these simple five suggestions, as based on the five points in an NBCnews.com article that Pastor Flemons highlighted. (Read more below.)

Words of Encouragement
Psalm 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
Psalm 37:39, 40 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
For Heaven’s Sake…
Miller’s simple Bible studies led to a tremendous religious movement, historically referred to as the “Great Awakening.” Considered one of the greatest events in American religious history, the Great Awakening grew to number 50,000 in the 1800s, when communication was largely mouth-to-mouth or pen-and-paper via horse and buggy. “People flocked from every major denomination in America to hear the word of God and an explanation of ‘newly discovered prophecies,’ especially the prophecies of Daniel 8 and 9. The methods of interpretation and delivery were biblically sound and appealed more to the intellect and the conscience than to the vacillating heartstrings of emotion.” HCFL 272
The key to interpreting prophetic time, they learned, is that one day equals one year. Applying the time principle to the 2300-day prophecy of Daniel 8:13-17 and Daniel 9:24-27, Miller and his followers learned that the year Jesus was baptized was foretold. It also revealed the year of His crucifixion. It fixed the year that the gospel would be preached to the Gentiles, the same year that the probation of the Jews ended. The prophecy ended with the announcement of the cleansing of the sanctuary.
The Bible, in Ezra 6:14, and the annals of history provided the starting point of the 2300-day prophecy: 457 BC. The ending date, therefore, was AD 1844. They knew God had revealed this prophecy and was unlocking its meaning, because it related to the very time in which they were living. But what the cleansing of the sanctuary really meant and all the other details of the timeline and the sanctuary itself, especially as it related to salvation, they were yet to learn.

For Health’s Sake…
Exercising to the point of sweating helps boost the immune system, as it raises the temperature to that of a low-grade fever to kill bacteria that has invaded the body. Exercising is one of the greatest things you can do to help keep your immune system strong. When you don’t, you weaken it.
Eating garlic, especially raw garlic, releases the enzyme allicin, which not only improves immune function but helps keep the arteries clean. Rocket fuel is an excellent healthy drink and a great way to get in the garlic required.
Drinking elderberry is a tasty way to help strengthen the immune system and fight colds and flu. It has been reported that it helps shorten the duration of colds and flu by at least four days and that it is high in antioxidants.
Opting for vegetable broth, rather than chicken soup, is a great decision and a better way to strengthen the immune system.
Taking probiotics in a nondairy yogurt will help fight bad bacteria, as it increases good bacteria.
