Words of Encouragement
Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
For Heaven’s Sake…
The fifth commandment says, “Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee” (Exodus 20:12). The fifth commandment is broad with its requirement of authority to parents. It extends not only to police but to judges and others in authority.
Always respect authority. Use a respectful tone of voice. Don’t agitate. Even when you must decline an order to search your home when an officer cannot produce a search warrant, “do it respectfully,” says Pastor Flemons.
Disrespect for parents and other authority figures is a direct violation of the fifth commandment and shortens the length of life granted you on this earth.
Romans 13:1-4 says it this way: “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same. For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.”
For Health’s Sake…
First add a superfood, like barley grass or noni or Supertonic.
Add almonds. They are alkaline.
Add flaxseeds for omega-3. Flaxseed also keeps you from being constipated.
Add sprouts for energy and power-packed nutrition.
Add diatomaceous earth to kill any parasites or fungus.
Add berries, which are high in antioxidants. Add pomegranates, which are highly nutritious and “three times higher in antioxidants than red wine and green tea.” Add bananas, of course, unless you are diabetic.
If you need a sweetener, use blue agave or a little honey or stevia. But the fruit may be sweet enough.
Smoothies are a great way to get nutrition and energy and to satisfy hunger, when you have only a little time for digestion before bedtime or can’t afford to feel “too full.”
