Words of Encouragement
Psalm 33:5, 6 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
Exodus 14:13, 14 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
For Heaven’s Sake…
Moses was in the mount with God to receive the two tables of stone in which God had engraved the Ten Commandments. Meanwhile, the people of God “rose up to play.” God saw them and told Moses of their apostasy, that Moses should return to them, that His “wrath may wax hot against them” to consume them. Then He promised to make a great nation of Moses. Like Christ, who pleaded His blood for mankind, Moses pleaded for the life of God’s people and for the reputation of God before unbelievers. Knowing the end from the beginning, “the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people” (Exodus 32:14). But when Moses saw the nakedness of the people, like God, he became angry.
Exodus 32:19 and 20 describes it this way:
19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
Moses then examined Aaron to learn the details of their apostasy. Unlike Christ and Moses, Aaron cowardly lied to save himself and blamed the people. And before the day was done, three thousand men died, but not before having the opportunity to stand on the Lord’s side. The following day, Moses returned to God to plead the life of the people who remained. Like Christ, Moses offered his own life–that his name be blotted out of God’s book, if the people would not be forgiven.
“And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. 34 Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them” (Exodus 32:33, 34).
For Health’s Sake…
First, clean your blood through fasting, exercising, and drinking pure water. Leviticus 17:11 says, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood.” Your blood is cleansed when you go on a fast from foods and feast on the juice of vegetables. This rests your digestive system and feeds your cells with high nutrition. Your blood is cleansed when you exercise. The blood is oxygenated and toxins are released through perspiration. Your blood is cleansed when you drink pure water, at least half of your body’s weight in ounces. Water flushes out toxins through your urine. In fact, water helps all the channels of elimination (lungs, liver, kidneys, skin, colon, blood, and lymph) release toxins from the body more effectively.
Secondly, increase circulation. Proverbs 14:30 says, “A sound (strong) heart is the life of the flesh.” The heart is the organ that pumps the blood throughout the body system. You help keep the heart sound by doing all the things mentioned for cleansing the blood. You help increase bloodflow by wearing loose clothing. You also increase healthy bloodflow by keeping the body evenly covered, including the extremities (arms and legs).
