Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Jesus Christ became a sacrifice for sin. In so doing, He gave His all. “When a person decides to become a child of God, he accepts Christ and Him crucified as the offering for his sin. Are we willing to give Him all our sins to be burned on the altar–the sins which He has purchased with His blood–all our follies, all our bad habits, all unprofitable reading, all evil associations, all harmful amusements–everything that spoils or hinders soul growth? Are they all on the altar? Let us give them all up, for they do us only harm. Though the mistakes of our life may be many, and the sins of our heart may be more, let us truthfully say: “All to Jesus, I surrender, I surrender all.” (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, said that this was one the first things he learned as a medical missionary in his teens. The principle in Luke 16:10 can be applied to the human body and biblical wellness. (Read more below.)

Words of Encouragement
Luke 12:32, 33 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
Exodus 14:14, 15 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward.
For Heaven’s Sake…
“Let us make sure of this, for only thus can God accept the gift or the giver.
“But this offering means still more than giving up our sins to be burned. We must give our bodies – our lives, ‘a living sacrifice,’ Rom. 12:1, – all our time, all our talents, all our physical powers, all our income, all our affections – all must be laid on the altar to be consumed entirely for Him, to be used as He shall direct. Only thus do we truly love God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind and with all our strength.’This is the first and great commandment,’ Mark 12:30; Matt. 22:38. It is the first step on The Path to the Throne of God. Nothing but complete consecration can be acceptable. From the depths of our heart, we can then truthfully and gladly sing: ‘All to Thee, my blessed Savior, I surrender all.'”

For Health’s Sake…
“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.” When we take care of one cell, we take care of them all. Cells group to form tissue, which group together to form organs, and then systems, which group together to make the body. “When we can keep the smallest, structural unit of our body healthy, then the entire body is healthy,” says Pastor Flemons.
The five things each cell needs to be healthy are these: oxygen, water, nutrition, cleansing, and defense. Without oxygen, the cell will die in minutes, and so will you. Oxygen is drawn from fresh air, which is essential during periods of exercise and rest.
Without water, the body will become dehydrated. Constipation will set in and so will diseases of all kinds. All of the body’s channels of elimination depend on proper hydration for successful operation. Proper hydration is drinking half of one’s body weight in ounces every day. Pastor Flemons recommends reading Your Body’s Many Cries for Water: You Are Not Sick. You Are Thirsty! He says, “You will have more swelling in your arthritic joints, if they’re dehydrated. You will have more elevated sugar, if you’re dehydrated. You will have thicker blood to push through the veins, raising your blood pressure, if you’re dehydrated.” Our body need lots of water.
Nutrition is the cell’s fuel. Genesis 1:29 is the original menu from which humans may still choose to eat for optimal health. Those foods: nuts, grains, fruits and vegetables are “meat” for the body. After sin, God extended the menu to include the herb of the field for healing. (Read Genesis 3:18 and Revelation 22:2.) Everything you need can be found in plant-based foods and the medicinal herbs, says Pastor Flemons.
“True healing is a cleansing process,” says Pastor Flemons. “Disease is autointoxication. Toxins poison the body. Poisons that are not eliminated cause disease. Therefore the channels of elimination are the body’s multifaceted cleansing system. They exist to help keep the body free of toxins, which sicken the body.
The cell must be defended. The body’s defense system is the immune system. When the immune system is strong, disease can neither take root nor thrive.
