Worship: For Heaven’s Sake The trials of life will come anyway, says Pastor Shelem Flemons. As they come, they reveal what manner of man or woman we are. And when we refuse to murmur, but rather embrace them, we are by them prepared for salvation. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake The immunosuppressant Prednisone leads to cancer, says Pastor Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness. Speaking from his own long experience as a medical missionary, and including the experience of other medical missionaries, he says prolonged use of anything that suppresses the immune system will lead to cancer. Words of Encouragement
1 Corinthians 15:21, 22 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:51, 52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For Heaven’s Sake…
Therefore, we may as well be covered with the life of Christ or be consumed by them, says Pastor Flemons. And appropriately, he sang the song, “Cover With His Life.” Signifying the covering of Christ is His righteousness, which shields us from the fiery trials that try and could consume the soul.
In fact, the same God who is a consuming fire to the enemies of His people is a garment of protection for them. (Read Deuteronomy 9:3 and 4:24; also Hebrews 12:29.) In the same literal way, the brass of the altar in the courtyard of the sanctuary was the protective covering of the wood. The wood of the altar represents humanity with all of its mistakes, called “wood, hay, and stubble’ (1 Corinthians 3:12 and Isaiah 5:24). The brass in the sanctuary represents Jesus, just as did the brass serpent Moses made and set on a pole, according to God’s order, which saved the lives of those who looked upon it.
“How thankful we should be that the wood of which the altar was made was completely overlaid and protected with brass, because the path to victory not only for Christ but for His followers leads through suffering. ‘Yea. . .all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.’ 2 Tim 3:12. As the brass protected the boards from being consumed by fire, so Christ will be our companion and protector all the way to the throne of God. He will never leave us nor forsake us.”

For Health’s Sake…
Immunosuppressants are generally prescribed for those with overactive immune systems, manifested in autoimmune diseases, such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, irritable bowel, and even psoriasis. Inflammation is a common symptom in all of these conditions. Immunosuppressants are also typically prescribed for transplant patients to keep the immune system from rejecting a transplanted organ, such as a kidney or heart.
But by suppressing the immune system, toxins increase and remain in the body, allowing cancer cells (which exist in everyone) take over the body system and flourish. Often the cancers that develop are those that are rare. Thankfully, if they are a fast-growing cancer, says Pastor Flemons, they are a fast-going cancer, with proper natural treatment.
The answer is in changing the diet and lifestyle, cleansing the system and taking herbs, like those found in TOR’s Anti-Inflammation Tonic. Sometimes it is necessary to go on a supervised water-only fast to help calm an overactive immune system. As a general rule, the person recovers, as the immune system calms down naturally.
