Words of Encouragement

1 John 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

John 1:32-34  And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

For Heaven’s Sake…

The repentant thief was an exception to the rule. Like so, those who cannot be baptized for whatever reason can still be saved. They may be paralyzed. They may be sick. They may be incarcerated and forbidden the rites of baptism and would be baptized if at all possible.

In such cases, Jesus still accepts their heartfelt sorrow for a life of sin and provides His life of righteousness as theirs. The principle is that of doing all that can be done. It is found in the story of the woman with the alabaster box who anointed Jesus. The stated judgment of approval from Jesus was “She hath done what she could” (Mark 14:8).

As Jesus hung between two malefactors, one denounced Him. The other acknowledged Him and asked to be with Him in His kingdom. That very moment, Jesus promised that he would.

For Health’s Sake…

The eleven buzz words and phrases that S.D. Wells says “Big Food uses to fool people who try to eat clean but have no idea what they’re doing” are the following:

  1.  Enriched
  2.  Pasteurized
  3.  Fortified
  4.  Added Vitamin D
  5.  To protect color and flavor
  6.  Preservatives
  7.  Used to protect quality
  8.  Expeller pressed
  9.  All natural
  10.  Gluten free
  11.  GRAS — “Generally Recognized as Safe”

S.D. Wells concludes, “What Big Food calls additives and preservatives ‘add’ shelf life to foods while subtracting ‘real life’ years from those who consume them. From GMOs to HFCS, binge-eating Americans stuff their faces with just about anything and then brag about some ‘health care plan’ they get through their job, only to find out the hard way that chemical-based drugs also shorten lifespans, by adding lab-created chemicals to the food they eat, thus mutating and suffocating cells, and clogging arteries.”

This is even more reason to grow your own food and live well, says Pastor Flemons, who daily promotes the REFRESHING Way lifestyle, while he and other medical missionaries help restore quality of life to those who have gotten caught in the web of such advertising traps.
