Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  The way you dress should draw attention to God. Your dress should not draw attention to you. (Read more below.)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Pastor Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says you don’t need to eat meat to be healthy. The very strong cow gets all of its nutrients from that which is produced from the earth: grass. (Read more below.)

Words of Encouragement

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

For Heaven’s Sake…

The priests were required to dress in such a way that they represent the Messiah in their service to God. “Any failure on the part of a priest to obey meant death.” What happened?

How did the dress become what it is today? Pastor Flemons explained. Industrialization impacted fashions. The Vatican II Council impacted fashions.

But then “why so severe a penalty? Because in that case it would be impossible for the priest to bear the iniquity of the children of Israel, which as Christ’s representative was his portion. . . The result to the unfaithful Christian is the same, for if the ambassador for Christ is not clothed with His righteousness, he cannot turn others from their iniquity, but he will lead them astray. As a result, he may cause their eternal ruin, and he may lose his own soul.”

(Read Exodus 28:43; and Numbers 18:1. By all means, listen to the recording for more details and about comparatives between slavery, the Holocaust and penalties levied on Christians during the Dark Ages. Pastor Flemons also recommends Walter Veith’s YouTube commentary on Vatican II.)

For Health’s Sake…

Man’s original diet was given in Genesis 1:29.

“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”

The original diet very clearly included nuts, grains, fruits and vegetables, like broccoli, whose seed is in itself. Medicinal herbs were added to man’s diet after sin entered the world, according to Genesis 3:18. The bottom line is that diseases do not come from eating nuts, grains, fruits or vegetables. Diseases develop because of eating meat and dairy and processed foods, not organic whole foods, says Pastor Flemons. Everything the body needs is found in the original diet ordered by God.

Furthermore, he says, “If we eat God’s diet, we’ll be healthier.”

(Please listen to the recording for more interesting details about the original diet.)
