Worship: For Heaven’s Sake The resurrection of Christ, says Pastor Flemons, proves the power of the Gospel unto salvation. It had been a high Sabbath. In typical fashion, Israel celebrated the unique Passover, which had just lost its significance in the death of Jesus, the Messiah. Jesus rested quietly in the tomb, while Israel celebrated in ignorance and all heaven rejoiced over His victory. In a predawn hour of the next morning, Jesus rose from the dead in fulfillment of the wave sheaf of first fruits. “He was the true wave sheaf, the ‘first fruits of them that slept,’ 1 Cor 15:20, and the resurrection of them who die in the Lord was secured. It will be completed at the first resurrection, Rev. 20:6.”
(Please listen to the recording for further details and to hear and sing with Pastor Flemons Hymn 341, “To God Be the Glory.” Also read 1 Corinthians 15.)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says too much sex can cause prostate cancer. Masturbation, appropriately called self-abuse, can lead to suppressed mental ability and agility. That is because in one ejaculation, all the zinc that can be absorbed by the body in one day is all lost at once. Zinc deficiency symptoms include, among other things, poor neurological function, which is associated with attention and motor disorders, and a weak immune system that makes the body easily susceptible to viruses and diseases, including cancer. Words of Encouragement
1 Chronicles 11:22, 25 Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done many acts; he slew two lionlike men of Moab: also he went down and slew a lion in a pit in a snowy day. . . .Behold, he was honourable among the thirty, but attained not to the first three: and David set him over his guard.
1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (Read also CE 114.1.)
