Worship: Continual Bread / Wellness: Overcome Depression the REFRESHING Way

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  On the table of shewbread was set two rows of large cakes or loaves, six in each row. Each loaf represented one tribe of the twelve tribes of Israel. The bread represented Jesus, the Bread of Life and the Word of Life. The bread was always on the table. It was continual. It teaches the importance of daily Bible study, which is a daily partaking of the Bread of Life, the Word of God.

Twelve new loaves were placed on the table at the beginning of every Sabbath, with the change of temple priests. The bread being removed was eaten the following week by the “outgoing priests ‘on behalf of the Israelites, to mark a lasting compact.'” Whatever remained of the old bread, that portion of uneaten bread, was presented in a holy offering by fire on the brazen altar, “‘for it is most holy of the offerings of the Lord made by fire.'”

Schedule your daily Bible study, says Pastor Flemons, or Satan will make sure you don’t have time to fit it in.

[For additional details, please read Exodus 25:30; Numbers 4:7; 1 Chronicles 9:32; Psalm 119:11; Leviticus 24:5-9; and PP 348. Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that the safest way to heal from depression is embracing the REFRESHING Way lifestyle. He explained what that means in detail. But here are a few highlights:

First, you must take your depression and the reasons for it to GOD in prayer. Ask GOD for deliverance and for complete healing. Then see what He has in His Word (the Bible) just for you. The truths in His Word bring happiness, says Pastor Flemons. Prayerfully read in this order: Isaiah 41:10; Job 1:1-22; 2:9, 10; 37:14; 42:10; Matthew 5:4, 43-46; 2 Samuel 22:19, 20; James 5:10, 11; Psalm 37:3, 4; and Philippians 4:8.

Next, eat no more than two to three meals daily of a total plant-based diet. Include mostly raw vegetables and fruits and less of grains, nuts and seeds. Avoid sugary and other excitatory foods, like caffeine, which hinder proper circulation of blood to the brain. Increase your intake of water, since depression can be a sign of dehydration. Daily drink in ounces at least half of your body weight. For instance, a 100-pound person would need 50 ounces of water daily.

Finally, be sure to exercise in the fresh morning air and sun. And rest by 9:30 every evening. Be committed to being healthy and help someone else do the same. (For further details, please listen to the recording.)

Special Prayer  Please include in your prayers today Pastor Flemons (8537), who asked that we keep him in prayer for safety as he travels and helps someone relocate. Also pray that the ministry purchases the property this year and upgrade the technology and that everyone surrenders his/her heart to God.

Pray also for all grieving families (especially spouses) and for those fighting for their lives. Also pray for those areas at risk of being destroyed by hurricanes and tornadoes.

Remember to continue praying for the entire TOR broadcast family, that GOD will be free to bless us in the way that HE really wants to in 2018. Thank you!
