Worship: Persecution and Tribulation / Wellness: Cellulitis

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Persecution or tribulation can arise from those who are offended when God’s people remain faithful to His Word. (Read Matthew 13:21.)

According to Judges 10:11-14 and Deuteronomy 4:27-30, tribulation arises from nonreligious sources, like civil government. But persecution comes from the church, according to Matthew 23:37. Beyond that, says Pastor Flemons, 2 Thessalonians 1:4, gives us a clue that in the last days, there will be a blending of the two: persecution with tribulation.

“The ‘time of trouble, such as never was,’ is soon to open upon us; and we shall need an experience which we do not now possess and which many are too indolent to obtain. It is often the case that trouble is greater in anticipation than in reality; but this is not true of the crisis before us. The most vivid presentation cannot reach the magnitude of the ordeal. In that time of trial, every soul must stand for himself before God. . . . {GC 622.4}

“Our only safety,” says Pastor Flemons, “is in holding on to the loving arms of Jesus.”

[For additional details, read The Great Controversy, GC 39:2; Matthew 5:12; 24:31; Hebrews 10:32; and 11:36; and listen to the recording to hear the commentary of Pastor Flemons and hear him sing Hymn #469, “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.”]

Worship: For Health’s Sake  Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, discussed cellulitis, which is an inflammation of the skin. It is usually located in the lower extremities and manifests itself in swelling, mild pain, and redness. If left untreated, it can become serious, especially when associated with an infection that can become gangrenous.

It is typically treated with lots of antibiotics, says Pastor Flemons. But he does not recommend treating with antibiotics, because they come with a lot of side effects. They tend to damage the gut, which in itself leads to so many other health problems. If you feel you must take antibiotics, he says to take probiotics as well to help protect your gut.

Natural alternatives should include lots of garlic (at least three cloves a day). Garlic is a very powerful natural antibiotic. And a great way to consume the daily requirement of garlic, he says, is to take a full yield of this Rocket Fuel recipe throughout the day. Other natural antibiotics include colloidal silver (a few ounces to a quart daily), MMS, and oil of oregano in liquid coconut oil. A charcoal poultice or castor oil pack also provides anti inflammatory and antibiotic or anti fungal help externally. Manuka honey and tea tree oil may also be used topically.

Hot and cold contrast soaks to the affected area is highly recommended as well. At least three rotations will go a long way to help get circulation to that area, says Pastor Flemons.

Sister Odessa asked us to pray for her as she is traveling today.  She also asked special prayers for the Kelly family in a  trial they are facing.  There is a young man in the family facing life without the possibility of parole.

Sister Chester gave thanks for many things God has done for her including introducing her to the broadcast of this ministry.

Ephesians 2:4-7  But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, … and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. (Also read My Life Today, ML 100.)
