Worship: Sabbath a Sign of Sanctification / Wellness: Think You Might Have Cancer?

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Sanctification is a lifelong process of abstaining from sin, conforming to the perfect will of God, and being transformed into the image of Christ. Sanctification leads to lifelong obedience to God. The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Galatians (5:16) says that when we walk in the Spirit, we will not “fulfill the lust of the flesh.” In verses 19-21, he lists ways the lust of the flesh is manifested. God is able to give each of us a new heart and a new spirit, according to Ezekiel 36:26.

The Sabbath experience is intimately connected with sanctification, which is the result of three distinct experiences: studying and obeying God’s Word, praying to God (which also involves listening to Him), and serving humanity for God. These are what the Sabbath keeper focuses on during the sacred hours of the Sabbath. If one is to “have a living, growing experience in sanctification, he will continue to study God’s word more diligently, to pray more fervently, to let his light shine more faithfully. A true Sabbath keeper, then, will be a thorough Bible student, a person of effectual prayer, and an untiring worker for God, one having a real soul burden for those who do not know God’s truth. Thus the Sabbath becomes a sign, a real sign-board, pointing to sanctification, the end of the Christian’s earthly life experience as typified in the holy place of the sanctuary.

[For additional details, please read Exodus 31:12; Galatians 5:16,17; John 8:3; Colossians 4:2,3; Hebrews 13:1; Ezekiel 36:26; and “The Sabbath, a ‘Sign’ of Sanctification” in Path to the Throne of God, by Sarah Elizabeth Peck. (PTG 184 original. PTG 250 latest edition. PTG 138, 139 online.) Also, listen to the recording to hear the commentary of Pastor Flemons and hear him sing Hymn #495, “Near to the Heart of God.”]

Worship: For Health’s Sake  Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, discussed several alternatives to the typical biopsy for cancer. The biopsy involves seeding, says Pastor Flemons, which spreads cancer along the path of the needle. He says that seeding is not usually of any major concern to the medical community, because of the intent to aggressively treat the cancer.

Nevertheless, Pastor Flemons advises against biopsies. He also says stay away from modalities based on quantum physics, which is basically spiritualism. Safer alternatives are available, he says. Persons who have cancer are also anemic, especially in an advanced stage. Therefore, first, go to a local clinic to order blood work for a CBC and CMP, and vitamin D level. The CBC is a comprehensive blood count. The CMP is the comprehensive metabolic profile. The cost is likely under $100.

Next, go to NavarroMedicalClinic.com. It walks you through a step-by-step process and promises “A safe, cost-effective, non-invasive, accurate screening test for Cancer.” Carefully read all instructions. The test, which measures the HCG level, is not for those who are pregnant, or for women who have had sexual intercourse within 12 days, or within 48 hours for men. The urine sample must be mailed to the Philippines, while the payment of $55 is mailed to their USA address. Mailing costs are separate. You can have the mail expedited. But normally, the process will take three to four weeks for delivery of the results when being mailed from the US.

Finally, Pastor Flemons suggests visiting a thermography technician to have your body heat monitored. They are not permitted to determine whether you have cancer. However, because fast growing cancer cells (even for slow-growing cancers) emit heat that can be measured, the technician can tell you whether there is suspicious activity in certain areas of your body.

Pastor Flemons does not believe in chemotherapy. But he explains why he supported it in only one case. That was a case where the tumor interfered with breathing.
