Worship: For Heaven’s Sake “Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” That is 1 John 5:4.
Continuing with the Whole Armor series and focusing on Ephesians 6:16, Pastor Flemons says that we are too nonchalant about our salvation. We are too nonchalant about overcoming the world. He says that we need to take a lesson from Jacob, who learned that God is the Great I AM of limitless power. Jacob learned that God is the personal rewarder of those who diligently seek after Him. Jacob learned, like we need to, to hold on to God with all his might and to never let Him go.
“We don’t pray enough,” says Pastor Flemons. We don’t care enough to pray without ceasing, as the Apostle Paul advised in 1 Thessalonians 5:17. We should pray about everything: from the smallest to the greatest. And we need to have faith in God, regardless of what Satan throws at us, he says.
“The work of conquering evil is to be done through faith. Those who go into the battlefield will find that they must put on the whole armor of God. The shield of faith will be their defense and will enable them to be more than conquerors. Nothing else will avail but this—faith in the Lord of hosts, and obedience to His orders. Vast armies furnished with every other facility will avail nothing in the last great conflict. Without faith, an angel host could not help. Living faith alone will make them invincible and enable them to stand in the evil day, steadfast, unmovable, holding the beginning of their confidence firm unto the end.” {CT 182.4}
We must come to know with all certainty that God is the Supreme God and that He has the power to do anything. And we must trust in His love for us to know without a shadow of a doubt “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all,” will “with him also freely give us all things.” Romans 8:32. And “above all,” take the shield of faith, whereby ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Yes. Our faith is the victory.

Worship: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that cancer can be caused by processed meat. He shared a cancer.news article as the focus of his talk. However, he slightly disagrees with the article, entitled “Eating a lot of processed meat can increase your risk of cancer.” Pastor Flemons quickly responded, “We know that eating any meat increases your risk of cancer.”
The article, written by Zoey Sky and published on cancer.news January 8 of this year, says “researchers examined 15 previous studies, which involved a total of over 1.2 million women, to determine a connection between breast cancer and processed meat.”
They found that people who ate the most processed meat were found to have a nine percent higher risk for breast cancer. Other studies concluded that those who ate processed meat showed a greater risk for colorectal cancer, as opposed to breast cancer. Regardless of the type of cancer it causes, says Pastor Flemons, “Cancer is cancer. All meat is acidic and tends to add toxins to your body. Toxins cause cancer.”
All researchers need to know that any diet outside of the biblical diet will increase the risk of any kind of disease. Period.
