Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Dress reform follows talks by Pastor Flemons on a number of reforms instituted after 1798, when the Dark Ages ended. These reforms include the Bible, the Spirit of Prophecy, the Sanctuary, the Sabbath, Worship, Country Living, as well as Financial, Education, Home, Prophetic, Faith, Unity, and Health reforms in his series “Preparation for the Final Crisis,” which he says is “preparation for Heaven.”
“We have to look at history,” says Pastor Flemons, who explained that Christian women at one time never wore pants. Women wearing pants, he says, coincides with the Industrial Revolution. Pushed by the Feminist Movement, women wanted to prove that they could do whatever men could do. At first, says Pastor Flemons, Christian women rejected the so-called new American costume.
One Christian woman, as God’s messenger, provided, in part, this response: “There is an increasing tendency to have women in their dress and appearance as near like the other sex as possible, and to fashion their dress very much like that of men, but God pronounces it abomination. ‘In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety.’ 1 Timothy 2:9.” {1T 421.3}
“I was shown that God would have us take a course consistent and explainable. Let the sisters adopt the American costume and they would destroy their own influence and that of their husbands. They would become a byword and a derision. Our Saviour says: ‘Ye are the light of the world.’ ‘Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.’ There is a great work for us to do in the world, and God would not have us take a course to lessen or destroy our influence with the world.” {1T 422.1}

Worship: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, shared an article that reveals the shocking ingredients in makeup, including urine, listed as urea, and roadkill or tallow, listed as stearic acid. “Bull sperm is used in shampoo and conditioner for super shiny hair.” Infant foreskin is being “used as an anti-aging ‘revolution.'” And the scales of fish form the base of the so-called “natural pearl essence” on your bottle of nail polish.
Lead was found to be in 32 different brands of lipstick. And of these, 68 percent “exceeded the acceptable daily intake of lead within the whole container.” Parabens, which “have been found in breast cancer tumors and can contribute to hormone imbalance in females,” are used as a preservative in perfume and “are also found in 75 percent of other makeup.”
Check your foaming product for SLS, or “sodium lauryl sulfate.” It “is found in 90 percent of cosmetic products that foam.” According to the article, “SLS can strip away all essential oils from your skin that provide moisture and” [protection] “from outside elements. Once the oil is gone—it’s gone for good. SLS is also linked to endocrine system disruption and respiratory problems.”
Check all your cosmetics (foods and drinks for that matter) for FD&C. You are most likely to find FD&C color pigments. They are federally regulated pigments and are “found in almost every cosmetic item.” And you need to know this: “These pigments are highly toxic and carcinogenic and deposit toxins onto the skin from metal salts. Color pigments are also in many artificially colored foods and drinks better known as ‘Red Lake No. 40.’”
The takeaway from this article is that the only way to be safe is by simply letting your own God-given natural light shine.
