Worship: For Heaven’s Sake We all can be the sons and daughters of God. But there is a condition. We must submit to being like Jesus all day long. It is possible. Jesus, the Son of God, made it so. That is why Jesus, who was innocent of sin, was baptized. Jesus encouraged John the Baptist to proceed with His baptism, because He needed “to be our example, that He might ‘fulfill all righteousness.’ . . .[Thus] When we are truly baptized, a great peace fills our souls, and we become the sons of God.” (Read 1 John 3:1, 2, and listen to the recording to hear Pastor Flemons sing “Higher Ground,” “I Would Be Like Jesus,” and “Like Jesus.”)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says if you have colon cancer, eat more nuts! According to a health.news article, which he shared with listeners, nuts are packed with nutrition and antioxidants. The article reported research findings concluded that people who ate two or more servings of nuts per week were found to increase their risk of disease-free cancer survival by 42 percent, as compared to those who ate no nuts. The study also found that those who avoided peanuts and chose almonds, walnuts, hazel nuts, pine nuts and pistachios, increased disease-free survival by 46 percent. Pastor Flemons says the real truth is the more nuts you eat, the less likely you will eat meat, which is the main cause of colon cancer. If you eat more nuts and no meat, he says, “your chances of not getting colon cancer will skyrocket!”

Sharing Time A listener, Sis. Odessa, told how she courageously she is healing, both physically and emotionally, from a knee injury and from the loss of all three of her sons. She told how blessed she has been and requests that we keep her in prayer. Following her testimony and requests for prayer, Pastor Flemons sang “Does Jesus Care?”
Special Prayer for call-in listener 3116, who requests that we pray for her children and grandchildren, and that she remains in God’s will and walks more by faith. She asks also that we pray for the TOR ministry and for the broadcast listening family. Sis. Stella David asks that we pray for her daughter, Sandra, who is a diabetic, and that she will trust more in God.
Remember to continue praying for the entire TOR broadcast family, that GOD will be free to bless us in the way that HE really wants to in 2018. Thank you.
