Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Exodus 20:15 simply says, “Thou shalt not steal.” Basically, it is that simple. If it is not yours, don’t treat it like it is yours. But also, it is more than that. Actually, the eighth commandment is broader than most people even realize. If you cheat, you are stealing a higher grade. If you don’t return to God your tithes and offering, you are stealing from God and from those who could be served by the ministry. If you don’t preserve your health, you are stealing from your family the benefits only you can provide to them when you are in good health. When you don’t do your best and when you gossip, you are robbing others of a godly example. Any type of sin is a waste of time and a waste of some type of blessing that could have benefited someone, including you.
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, suggests building a large healthy salad as a base for any meal to ensure great nutrition. It gives you a lot of raw foods: various lettuces (iceberg not recommended), various sprouts (They are superfoods!), avocado, tomato wedges, carrots, red cabbage, cucumbers, olives, and radishes, for instance. Add nuts and/or seeds. Flavor the salad with at least a squeeze of lemon juice and a little salt, maybe. Then add your cooked foods. You can do this also with fruit salads. This keeps your diet highly nutritious and attractive, and very simply done.
(NOTE: Before following any advice given here, please read our disclaimer on this page.)
QTQT Pastor Flemons responded to a question about chest tightness and pain. To be on the safe side, put a little cayenne pepper under the tongue. It encourages blood circulation and thus, helps prevent blood clots and heart attacks.
