Worship: Church Pillars / Wellness: Keep It Moving!

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Church pillars represent the redeemed of the Lord. Exodus 24:3-8 reveal that after “Israel had unanimously covenanted to obey all the words of the Lord that Moses read to them from the book where they were written,he took with him a few representative people and solemnly ratified the agreement by building an altar and twelve pillars, ‘according to the twelve tribes of Israel.’ (Ex. 24:1, 4. This shows that pillars sometimes represent God’s obedient children.” In Revelation 3:12, we read “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God.”

Wellness: For Health’s Sake   Highly physically active seniors prove the broad benefits of exercise, according to an article Pastor Flemons read. Eighty-something-year olds are showing signs in their immune systems of twenty-something-year olds. For years, Pastor Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, has been promoting daily exercise in the fresh air and in the sun as a lifestyle for overcoming disease and for sustaining health. It is an essential element in the REFRESHING Way lifestyle, an easy way to checklist your way to biblical wellness.

Words of Encouragement

James 5:19, 20  Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

1 Peter 1:22, 23  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
