Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Jesus showed the importance of having practical godliness, even while dying on the cross. He entrusted the care of His mother to John, the beloved disciple, who was standing at the cross with the mother of Jesus. It was only after He said to His mother, “Woman, behold thy son!” and then to John, “Behold thy mother!” that Jesus deemed all things were accomplished. Immediately after that, according to John’s gospel, Jesus said, “I thirst” and “It is finished.” Having said that, He “bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” What does that have to do with us personally? Only this: that Jesus is our Example in all things.

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, discussed the Budwig diet. It is a diet that is based on the logic that since cancer is the result of bad foods, the solution must be found in good foods. The flaxseed-probiotic rich diet has been found to be particularly successful against various cancers for more than fifty years. Although flaxseed oil mixed with cottage cheese is specific to the Budwig diet, alternatives to cottage cheese like kefir and coconut can be equally as successful. Besides that, a plant-based diet and a healthy lifestyle are always highly recommended. TOR particularly recommends the REFRESHING Way lifestyle as a easy guide to wellness. You may wonder why you have never heard of the Budwig diet, since it is supposed to be so powerful against cancer. Maybe you haven’t heard of it, because it is too simple.

Words of Encouragement
1 Peter 3:12-13 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
1 Peter 3:14-16 But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
