Worship: The Heavenly Sanctuary / Wellness: One Meal Can Kill

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  There are no types in heaven: only the real. Evidently then, “when John was given a vision of the heavenly sanctuary, he was shown the living throne of God, antitype of the ark with the mercy seat and the Shekinah; he was shown Jesus as our Intercessor, offering His righteousness as sweet incense before the throne, antitype of the golden altar and golden censer, both of which had to do with the offering of incense which represented the righteousness of Christ; he was shown the ‘seven Spirits of God,’ antitype of the seven-branched golden candlestick ‘burning before the throne.’ Thus in the heavenly sanctuary today are united all the persons of the Godhead–Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in His sevenfold power in behalf of our salvation, while angels, obeying the ‘voices’ which like ‘thunderings’ proceed out of the throne, speed like flashes of ‘lightning.’ Rev. 4:5, eager to be sent forth ‘as ministering spirits. . .for them who shall be heirs of salvation.’ . . .  As time with rapid pace hastens to its close, the Spirit of God ‘taketh intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.’ Rom. 8:26. . . This work of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, together with that of the angels, is the work now in progress in the living sanctuary, ‘the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands,’ ‘the true tabernacle which the Lord pitched, and not man.’ Heb. 9:11; 8:2.” (For further details, listen to the recording and sing with Pastor Flemons, Hymn 457,  “I Love to Tell the Story” Also read Hebrews 10:20; Job 23:12; Matthew 4:4; Revelation 8:4; Matthew 5:16; Revelation 4:5; Exodus 26:34; and Hebrews 9:7, 11.)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says one meal can kill, because it sets you up for a heart attack. One single high fat meal can do it, he says, as he read from a health.news article.  “From their clinical trials, researchers from the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) observed that relatively healthy individuals, after consuming a single milkshake made with whole milk, exhibited an immune response that was very similar to an infection – in particular, their blood vessels were unable to relax. The results of this study, they believe, can shed light on the dangers of this type of diet and explain isolated cases of heart attacks (even death) after eating a super high-fat meal.” This explains why so many die around holidays. So if you think that since your diet is so healthy that you can reward yourself with a cheat meal, think again. (For those details and more, please listen to the recording.)

Words of Encouragement

Isaiah 56:1, 2 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

Isaiah 56:6, 7  Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepers the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
