Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Christians are lifelong volunteers, soldiers in God’s army against His foe, Satan. It is a battle that is not carnal. It is not against flesh and blood, as is erroneously thought and frequently seen. It is spiritual warfare: against powers and principalities, against rulers of darkness in the world and against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Read Ephesians 6:10-18.) It requires full spiritual armor from head to toe. Every piece represents Christ from the helmet of salvation, which is the mind of Christ, to the breastplate of His righteousness, to the shield of His faith, to the sword of His Spirit, which is the Word of God in the mission of the gospel of peace, wherever we go. It means laying aside every other weight and going on unto perfection with a focus that is ever forward and never backward.
[For additional details, please read Ephesians 6:10-18; 1 Peter 2:12; Hebrews 6:1, 2; Ephesians 4:22, 27-32; and EW 119.1. Also, please listen to the recording and join Pastor Flemons in singing “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus.” The full reading of “Pressing Toward the Prize” may be found in The Path to the Throne of God: The Sanctuary, by Sarah Elizabeth Peck, PTG 102 original; PTG 144 new edition; PTG 75, 76 online.]
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Shavegrass aka horsetail (but not a real horse’s tail!) has a high silica content, making it especially useful in external preparations for hair and skin support. Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, introduced listeners to a WellnessMama.com article, which reports that this amazing herb can be used also for polishing metal. Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, horsetail is also known for its antibacterial, antimicrobial, antioxidant, coagulant, demulcent (soothing), diuretic and astringent activity. It has broad use, including use for brittle bones, hair, teeth, gingivitis, tonsillitis, edema, itchiness, rashes, burns, frostbite, cracked and tired feet, and the list goes on. (For additional details, please read the article and listen to the recording.)

Sharing Time Hear poignant prayer requests and praise to God. Also hear Pastor Flemons explain. Is it really a horse’s tail or what?
