Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Sanctification is equally important as justification and reconciliation, says Pastor Flemons. Being empowered to live a life of obedience, a life of victory over sin, is as important as being forgiven for past sins (justification) in order to be brought into a relationship of peace with God (reconciliation). As in the court of the sanctuary the work of justification and reconciliation “are illustrated at the brazen altar and the laver, so in the holy place, sanctification is symbolized at the golden table, the golden altar, and the golden candlestick. Sanctification is surely a ‘golden’ experience.” The golden table, “located on the north side of the holy place, was made of shittim wood, overlaid with pure gold, thus illustrating humanity and Divinity united.” The golden table is the “real starting point” of Christian growth, as it represents the first opportunity for character perfection.

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says, “The worst thing you can do is to eat the flesh of dead animals.” It can eventually cause problems with the kidneys that end in spending the rest of your life on dialysis machines. The machines can never fully do what the kidneys are empowered to do by God. And because machines cannot filter out daily required minerals, like potassium, the diet of a dialysis patient is limited to the very foods that got them in trouble in the first place: particularly protein. Pastor Flemons says the problem is too much protein of the wrong kind. It is far better to protect your kidneys before it’s too late. Drink water! Drink in ounces half of your body’s weight, but never drink with your meals. Always allow at least one hour between mealtimes and drinking liquids.
(For further details, please listen to the recording and read the original statement from which Pastor Flemons based his health presentation and offered his sometimes dissenting opinion and advice.)
