Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Just as there were four horns on the altar of incense, there were four spices, each of equal weight, that “‘when tempered together,'” produced a sweet fragrance, especially when burned. “As the four ingredients in the bread represented Christ, the living Bread which came down from heaven, so the four sweet spices of the incense represented His perfect righteousness. As some of the incense was beaten ‘very small,’ so Christ was made ‘perfect through sufferings,’ that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.’ Heb. 2:10, 17. Likewise our sufferings lead us to the prayer altar, where we may be strengthened and fitted to help others.”
“Stop neglecting and rejecting Him,” says Pastor Flemons. “Let’s let Him be our Savior and take control.” When He has control of us, then our lives will have a sweet influence on throughout the world.
