Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Only the high priest was allowed to offer the incense in the earthly sanctuary. It was according to God’s instruction to Moses: “Aaron (the high priest) shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it. And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD” (Exodus 30:7, 8). Aaron, the high priest, represented none other than Jesus Christ, our High Priest. Jesus takes our sincere prayers, which have been presented to Him by the Holy Spirit, and then presents our prayers to His Father God on our behalf.
“God is pledged to answer every request of His Son.” That is why prayers should be prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. In this way, every sincere prayer is answered. In this way, prayer is powerful. In this way, prayer is a privilege. It is only in this way that God accepts our prayers as sweet incense before Him. Pastor Flemons says that this alone should make us want to be a Christian in our hearts.

Also listen to the recording and hear Pastor Flemons sing Hymn 319, “Lord, I Want to Be a Christian.”]
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, has personally survived working out in the hot sun this summer. He wants to be sure that you too survive, if you must work in the hot sun. However, avoid it, if at all possible. Nevertheless, if you must, there are four tips to help you avoid heat strokes. Sharing Time Hear the testimony of a listener who was the subject of special prayer. Another listener sent a text praising God for her successful move to a comfortable country home in North Carolina.
Special Prayer Please include in your prayers today call-in listener 3588. Sis. Annette asks that we pray for “the little one,” age 4, who has just had her third brain surgery in the last month or so. The little one sustained a head injury that is described as being equivalent to being hit by a car. Her father has been awarded custody. Sis. Annette also asks that we pray for self-examination and full surrender to God that we all might be sealed by God.
Another listener asks that we pray for her father to overcome the feeling of fullness, that he can’t seem to get rid of, along with nausea. Another listener asks that we pray for her friend Lauricio, that the false accusations against him would cease. Also pray for Ruth to accept the gift of salvation and become a new creature in Christ.
Pray also for all grieving families (especially spouses) and for those fighting for their lives and against depression. Also pray for those areas at risk of being destroyed by hurricanes and tornadoes and extreme heat.
Remember to continue praying for the entire TOR broadcast family, that GOD will be free to bless us in the way that HE really wants to in 2018. Thank you!

Words of Encouragement
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Ephesians 6:11, 12 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
