Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Pastor Flemons shared a few short thoughts on a requested song that has a biblical theme. The Scripture song based on Revelation 15:1-3, paints the scene of those victorious “over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name.” Standing on the “sea of glass, having the harps of God,” they sing “the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou Kings of saints.”
It is a song borne of an experience. Like the song mentioned in Exodus 15:1-5 (which also includes 2 Corinthians 10:3-5), it is a song of victory over sin and Satan, the undisputed enemy of God and Christians. It is a song that is said the angels cannot sing. For of all the worlds God has created, only the inhabitants of Earth have sinned against God. Of all other worlds, Earth is the only dwelling place of Satan and the evil angels. (Read Revelation 12:9 and Job 1:6,7.) And although all of Heaven is engaged in the plan of man’s salvation and in man’s battle against sin and Satan, angels cannot sing the song from the personal experience of overcoming the very inborn tendency to sin against God.
[For additional details, please read Revelation 15:1,2; 1 Peter 1:10-12; and 7BC 922. Also, listen to the recording to hear the commentary of Pastor Flemons and hear him sing Scripture songs Revelation 15:3; and Exodus 15:1-5; as well as Hymn 425, “Holy, Holy Is What the Angels Sing.”]
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, spent the segment simply encouraging people to continue fighting for their health. Sometimes it can be a long uphill battle, especially when it has taken years for the body to finally become worn down. A lifetime of bad habits will have dire consequences. Fighting to regain health can be tough. Sometimes results can quickly begin to be felt and seen, but the battle may not yet be over. Regardless of whether quick results have led to a slacking of efforts or the battle is long and has led to discouragement, his advice is still the same. “Get back up!” he says. Get back into the fight. And never give up! There is a reward on the other side of your efforts.
One good way to begin again is to join in the weekly TOR day of fasting: Wednesdays. Skip a meal or two. He invited listeners to replace the skipped meal with water or with a smoothie or the juice of fruits and/or vegetables. He says, “Fasting one day a week can add years to your life.”
Then after the fast, be determined to put only nourishing foods into your body. He advises eating lots of sprouts, raw vegetables and fruits. And if you feel that you still may not be getting enough nourishment, he advises taking a superfood, like TOR’s AAA Supertonic Superfood.

Sharing Time Listeners gave testimonies, and Pastor Flemons explained the difference between God’s church and an organization and suggested that we read two pages in Upward Look: UL 131 and UL 315. He discussed pastors calling the police on members and whether Christians ought to take Christians to court. All discussions were in response to questions from a listener.
Special Prayer Please include in your prayers call-in listener 9275, Paula, the pastor’s sister. She asked that we pray for her to get organized, to manage her time wisely, to become debt free, to get back to healthful practices and do whatever is pleasing to God. Sis. Odessa asked that we keep her in prayer as she is healing from her surgery and still grieving over the loss of her three sons. Her most recent loss was nine months ago. Pray for Olive, who yawned yesterday and moved her feet after being on life support for at least two weeks. And please pray for Sis. Stella’s family who is grieving the loss of a loved one that will be buried this weekend.
Pray also for those undergoing surgery today and all grieving families (especially spouses). Pray for those fighting for their lives and against depression. Also pray for people living in areas at risk of being destroyed by hurricanes and tornadoes and other natural disasters.
Remember to continue praying for the entire TOR broadcast family, that GOD will be free to bless us in the way that HE really wants to in 2018. Thank you!
