Worship: For Heaven’s Sake “Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.” Psalm 85:10 aptly describes the judgment of God in the Most Holy Place of the heavenly sanctuary.
“On the day of atonement, the high priest performed not only the special service in the most holy place but in the court was also offered the regular daily sacrifices–‘the continual burnt offering,’ which represented the continual atonement of Christ. Num. 28:3, 4. Also in the holy place on the golden altar, the high priest burned the daily incense, symbol of the merits of Christ’s righteousness, Lev. 16:12, to which all had access. Thus as the earthly high priest on the typical day of Judgment officiated, in the court and in the holy place, as intercessor as well as in the most holy as judge, so Christ, our heavenly High Priest, during the real Judgment, acts not only as Judge but also as Intercessor, continuing to ‘plead His own blood’ and the merits of His own righteousness ‘in behalf of sinners.’ See GC 428, 429.”

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, introduced a MedicalNewsToday.com article on an herb known to some as the American coneflower. Others know it as echinacea. A popular herb used primarily for combating colds and flu, echinacea has a list of other benefits.
The December 2017 article list some of them, which are these:
- acid indigestion
- attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- chronic fatigue syndrome
- genital herpes
- gum disease
- rattlesnake bite
- septicemia – bloodstream infection
- streptococcus infection
- urinary tract infection
- vaginal yeast infection
Echinacea’s mix of active substances are either antimicrobial in effect or strengthening to the immune system.
“Echinacea is available over the counter (OTC) at pharmacies, health shops, and supermarkets as teas, liquid extracts, a dried herb, and as capsules or pills.”
