Worship: Sanctification, Our Passport / Wellness: Overcoming Fall Diseases, Arthritis

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  “Those who never accept Christ as their Savior,” says Pastor Flemons, “are doomed already. And yet, those who are saved are not automatically always saved.”

“As justification, obtained in the court, is the Christian’s passport into the holy place, so sanctification accomplished in the holy place, is his passport into the most holy place. But since sanctification is not completed until life on earth ends, or probation closes, the Christian who has finished his life work, enters the most holy place for judgment, not in person, but through his life record that has been written in the books of heaven. Since the beginning of the Judgment in 1844, all, both living and dead, whose names have been written in the Book of Life, have been in the time of the Judgment–the judgment of the house of God.” (PTG)

You are not doomed in the Judgment by momentary sin, says Pastor Flemons. Still, every sin must be confessed and forsaken. However, you are judged, he says, by the trend of your life and how you show appreciation for the power to overcome sin day by day and moment by moment. That is sanctification. His advice? Study God’s Word. Pray. Do good works. Keep your mind stayed on Jesus.

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, continued discussing how to overcome fall diseases. As cold temperatures settle in, arthritic joints become more painful. Pastor Flemons offers advice that is not simply taking a pill. His advice is in addressing the cause of arthritis: acidic blood.

To remain healthy, the blood needs to remain alkaline. When the blood becomes acidic through poor dietary and lifestyle habits, the body will seek to make the blood alkaline. Because calcium is alkaline, the body will pull calcium from the bones through the joints into the bloodstream to alkalinize the blood. In the process, deposits of calcium can get wedged between the joints, calcify, and irritate the smooth cartilage in the joints. It’s like putting sand in gears, says Pastor Flemons.

To avoid this from happening, eat an alkaline diet and do those things that are favorable to helping the blood regain and remain in an alkaline state. Following health and healing guidelines embedded in the acronym REFRESHING, Pastor Flemons advises doing the following:

R – Avoid or minimize stress by relying on God. Stress poisons the blood, making it toxic or acidic.

E – Eat healthy–meaning a total plant-based diet. The flesh of animals and their byproducts, like dairy and eggs, are all acidic and are more than the body can handle. Give up sodas, too! Rather eat lots of fruits and vegetables, which will neutralize the acid in your blood.

F – Breathe in fresh air, containing negative ions, for purer blood.

R – Rest. Habitually go to bed by 9:30 p.m. It helps the blood remain or become alkaline. “Rest helps stress,” says Pastor Flemons.

E – Exercise daily. Walking is a full-body exercise that helps to lock calcium in the bones. It also helps to eliminate stress and toxins from the body, thus keeping the blood healthy.

S – Use self-control by abstaining from harmful substances like alcohol, caffeine, nicotine and other drugs, and only doing in moderation those things that are good. Drink fresh grape juice; it is alkaline.

H – Drink pure H2O (water) in ounces equal to your body weight divided in half. If you weigh 100 pounds, drink 50 ounces of water daily between meals–never with meals.

I – Get in the sun daily for at least 20 minutes. This helps build vitamin D, which helps keep calcium in the bones.

N – Never give up, and eventually you will succeed.

G – Give to others, and you will receive an extra special blessing of health, as God has promised in Isaiah 58:6-8.

Then consider taking herbs that decrease inflammation and, consequently, eliminate or at least decrease arthritic pain. Such herbs include bromelain, MSM, papain, turmeric, alfalfadevil’s clawhopsskullcapsteviavalerianwhite willow, and yucca. These herbs are in TOR’s Arthritix Inflammation Tea / Tonic or in the Anti-inflammation Tonic.
