Worship: The Close of Probation, Part 3 – The SDA Church / Wellness: Two Big Salads a Day

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  You can grieve away the Holy Spirit and close your own probation. A whole church can officially apostasize and close its probation. “When a church’s probation closes,” says Pastor Flemons, “it is no longer considered a chosen people. In short, it becomes a part of Babylon. But the individual people’s probation is not closed, if they have not grieved the Holy Spirit.”

Pastor Flemons noted how probation closed on the Jewish nation of believers in AD 34. Next, he showed how the Early Christian Church corrupted itself, when it accepted heathen rites and customs and sought secular power, which prepared the way for it to become the Papacy. Next, the Apostate Protestant Churches sealed the end of their probation in the summer of 1844, when they rejected the angel’s message found in Revelation 14:8. In all instances, individuals could still come out and be saved.

“Just as with the Jewish Church, the early Christian churches, and the Protestant churches, when probation closes for the SDA corporate church, it will still be possible for individual Seventh-day Adventists who have not grieved the Holy Spirit to be saved,” Pastor Flemons concluded.

In confirmation, he shared these prophetic statements:

There are many who have not yet heard the testing truth for this time. There are many with whom the Spirit of God is striving. The time of God’s destructive judgments is the time of mercy for those who have had no opportunity to learn what is truth. Tenderly will the Lord look upon them. His heart of mercy is touched; His hand is still stretched out to save, while the door is closed to those who would not enter. {9T 97.2}

“The Lord Jesus will always have a chosen people to serve Him. When the Jewish people rejected Christ, the Prince of life, He took from them the kingdom of God and gave it unto the Gentiles. God will continue to work on this principle with every branch of His work. When a church proves unfaithful to the word of the Lord, whatever their position may be, however high and sacred their calling, the Lord can no longer work with them. Others are then chosen to bear important responsibilities. But, if these in turn do not purify their lives from every wrong action, if they do not establish pure and holy principles in all their borders, then the Lord will grievously afflict and humble them and, unless they repent, will remove them from their place and make them a reproach…. “{ UL 131.3}

“Evidence suggests,” says Pastor Flemons, “that the SDA Church is not the church that is going through to the end. Rather, individuals from within that church and the converts from Sunday [to Sabbath keeping] will comprise the remnant.”

Worship: For Health’s Sake  Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, discussed a simple method for eating lots of fruits and vegetables daily. He says to simply build your meal around salads. In one meal, build around a vegetable salad. In the other meal, build around a fruit salad.

The vegetable salad can be made with several types of lettuce. The best types of lettuce are green leaf, red leaf, and romaine (once it has been declared free of the current recall). But exclude iceberg lettuce, whenever possible. It is mostly devoid of nutrition. Be sure to add sprouts, which are super packed with nutrition. Chopped onions and peppers and tomatoes can be added and then topped with maybe pumpkin and/or sunflower seeds and finally with a natural dressing that is totally plant based. Surround that maybe with a plant-based macaroni and cheese casserole. Then complete your meal with a cooked vegetable and a nice plant-based entree.

The fruit salad can be as simple as chopped apples and pears, lightly topped with pineapple juice and almonds or walnuts, even pomegranate seeds. A whole-grain dish, like oatmeal or granola, would do well with the fruit salad. Then add scrambled tofu to replace scrambled eggs, and you are well on your way toward healthy eating.

Just make sure that your first meal is your largest, says Pastor Flemons.

Words of Encouragement

Ephesians 6:13-17  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Also read Ye Shall Receive PowerYRP 345.)

Psalm 50:23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God. (Also please read My Life Today, ML 91.)
