Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Pastor Flemons pointed out that wine in the Bible, as in Isaiah 28:7, refers to doctrine. In the case of “strong drink,” it refers to false doctrine. False doctrine causes those who drink it in to stumble, just as strong drink causes the one who imbibes it to physically stumble.
Bottles, as in Matthew 9:17, refer to our hearts–more specifically, our minds. The mind, the heart, must be ready for truth (or new doctrine). It reads, “Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.” That is to say, the Gospel is preserved in the heart that is open to Christ. That person has the mind to do whatever God says to do.
“When you’re not ready for the truth, it will hurt you,” says Pastor Flemons. That is why the Bible says that new wine or doctrine should never be poured into old bottles. When new wine is poured into new bottles, then “both are preserved.” And then, truly you can “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6,7).
Worship: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, invited everyone to give a testimony. He quoted Proverbs 17:22 to remind listeners that a grateful, “merry heart doeth good like a medicine.”
First to give her testimony was the listener whom Pastor Flemons calls a mother in Israel. Very likely the oldest listener of the broadcast, Sis. Boyce praised God for this ministry and reminded listeners that medical missionary work is the right arm of the Gospel.
Pastor Flemons expressed being grateful for health. He noted how GOD has kept him healthy and able to remain active on the daily broadcast without fail throughout 2018.
Sis. Rudder shared that she feels blessed for the privilege of hearing the broadcast every morning she is able to be on at the age of 79. She wants to be kept faithful and strong and encouraged everyone to remember that God is working on us and will not give us more than we can bear.
Another listener (2922) expressed how trying 2018 has been for her. Still she is grateful to GOD for so many things and for keeping her and her family safe. Then Sis. Odessa expressed her gratefulness to GOD and for this family of believers. She spoke of the ministry God has given to her to feed the homeless, which helps her heal from the brokenness of losing her three sons.
Sis. Jennifer closed out the testimonies by sharing the burden of her heart, including her gratefulness to GOD for many things. She encouraged listeners to remain faithful for what GOD has in store. And she listed those for whom she would like prayer.

Special Prayer Please include in your prayers today listener 9309, who made no special prayer request. However, listener 3039 asked that we pray for her: for strength and faithfulness. Listener 2922 wants the strength to do GOD’s will and be what he wants her to be, go where He wants her to go, and to be kept faithful. She wants that we all will be ready for Christ’s appearance, and especially that her family will get on board before it is too late. Sis. Jennifer asked that we pray for this ministry, and she asked that we pray for many other things. For those details, please listen to recording.

Words of Encouragement
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. (Also read Ye Shall Receive Power, YRP 9.)
1 Thessalonians 1:7, 8 Ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.
