Worship: Christ’s Character Perfected in You / Wellness: Turmeric Kills Cancer Stem Cells

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  In the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the final book of the Bible, we are told that the 144,000 will stand with Jesus. They will have the name of His Father written in their foreheads. The forehead, says Pastor Flemons, houses the frontal lobe of the brain, where moral decisions are made, where character is developed.

The name of the Father refers to His character, according to Exodus 33:18, 19 and Exodus 34:6, 7. God’s character is revealed in His law. The seal of His character is in the heart of His law. It is the fourth commandment, revealing the seventh-day Sabbath as the official day of worship. However, it is frequently cast aside for Sunday, the so-called sabbath, the first day in honor of Christ’s resurrection.

“In setting aside the law of God, men know not what they are doing. God’s law is the transcript of His character. It embodies the principles of His kingdom. He who refuses to accept these principles is placing himself outside the channel where God’s blessings flow. {COL 305.3}

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.” Galatians 5:22, 23. This fruit can never perish, but will produce after its kind a harvest unto eternal life. {COL 68.1}

“’When the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.’ Christ is waiting with longing desire for the manifestation of Himself in His church. When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own.” {COL 69.1}

“Surrendering to God is the easiest hardest thing to do, says Pastor Flemons. It is easy to do; but it requires all of you.”

Worship: For Health’s Sake  Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that the active ingredient in turmeric, curcumin, can selectively target cancer stem cells. It can almost be called a miracle food, according to the health.news article shared during the broadcast.

Turmeric, according to the article, has been used for “thousands of years” for its “powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory powers.” Furthermore, “Over 240 studies have also confirmed that the curcumin in turmeric boosts brain power and lowers risk of brain diseases; reduces risk of heart disease; prevents and possibly even helps to treat Alzheimer’s disease; reduces arthritis symptoms; helps ward of depression; and fights the effects of aging.”

Most exciting now is that a “groundbreaking study published in the journal Anticancer Research has revealed that curcumin can selectively target and destroy the stem cells that cause cancer malignancy – without destroying healthy cells in the process.” This means that it has the ability to both prevent and treat cancer. Pastor Flemons recommends using 100% organic turmeric. He says extra strength curcumin can be used for pain and should be found in any health food store.

Mark 10:14, 15  Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. (Also read With God at Dawn, WGD 76.)
