Worship: Rainbow Truth / Wellness: Tooth Decay and Gingivitis

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Due to the LGBT lifestyle and community, the rainbow symbol has generated extraordinary use and attention. But GOD set the rainbow in the cloud to remind mankind of a promise HE made after the global flood thousands of years ago. (Read more below.)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, began discussing diseases of the digestive system, beginning with tooth decay and gingivitis. (Read more below.)

For Heaven’s Sake…

After the flood waters abated, Noah’s ark rested in the “mountains of Ararat,” according to Genesis 8:4. It was later discovered by Ron Wyatt, as discussed in detail at WyattMuseum.com. Having spent more than a year in the ark, releasing at times a raven then a dove, Noah remained in the ark until the dove finally returned with a sign that vegetation was beginning to grow again. The dove had returned with an olive leaf. After another seven days, the dove was released again and never returned.

Noah removed the covering of the ark and exited the ark at the bidding of God. Once the ark was vacated, “Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar” Genesis 8:20. Noah worshipped.

Genesis 8:21-22  And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Genesis 9:12-15  And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

This promise was especially comforting to the early generations following the flood. Remember, it had never rained before the flood. The earth had only been watered by a mist that went up from the earth, according to Genesis 2:5-6. Anytime after the flood mankind could easily become fearful that there would be another global flood. The rainbow was a comfort that God promised it would never be a global flood again. And that is the rainbow truth.

For Health’s Sake…

Tooth decay results from excessive acids in the mouth. Excessive acids result from bacteria in the mouth. Bacteria feed on sugars and, when left to build up, become plaque. Plaque is the solid matter seen in yellowish layers of buildup on teeth.

It may be, says Pastor Flemons, that calcium is leeched from the teeth due to the presence of acid in the mouth. The body is probably trying to reverse the acid environment by alkalinizing it. As a result, the calcium hardens the bacteria, which is seen as plaque. This acid deteriorates teeth. The leeching of the calcium from the tooth weakens it, and the enamel is eaten away by the acid.

Plaque left untreated can form a yellowish to brown substance called tartar. Hard, crusty and porous, tartar appears just above or below the gum line. All this is caused by poor hygiene or untreated bacteria, which contributes to bad breath, tooth decay, and gingivitis.

Gingivitis is the earliest form of gum disease, caused by the buildup of plaque on teeth. Symptoms of gingivitis include red and inflamed and maybe bleeding gums. Left untreated, gingivitis can lead to more serious forms of periodontal diseases or periodontitis, which can ultimately lead to tooth loss. Tartar below the gum line may only be removed by dentists; however, that is currently under further study.

Tartar above the gum line is best removed by coconut oil pulling, a natural remedy, which will be discussed later this month. Simple changes, however, in lifestyle can prevent excessive bacteria, plaque and tartar. Eat less sugary foods. Eliminate refined foods. Eat whole foods.

Brush and floss without fluoride toothpaste. Fluoride is a toxin for the human body. Although it is an antibacterial substance, it is better used to deactivate bacteria in swimming pools. Rather, use natural antibacterials, such as colloidal silver or activated charcoal.
