Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Pastor Flemons introduced what is called in the Bible the Book of Life. Bible texts found in Revelation (3:5; 13:8; 17:8; 20:15; and 22:19) describe those whose names will be found, and those whose names will not be found, in the Book of Life. Overcomers, meaning those who gain victory over sin are listed in the Book of Life. Their names remain in it as long as they continue in overcoming sin. On the other hand are those whose names are not written in the Book of Life. They do not worship the Lamb, but wonder after the beast, and are finally cast into the lake of fire. Simply put, the Book of Life is the book listing the names of the saved.
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Listeners were treated to the testimony and update of the breast cancer recovery of Norma Zayas. Norma’s tests confirmed breast cancer. Doctors recommended the typical recovery measures: surgery, chemo and radiation therapy. Instead, Norma opted to attend the Times of Refreshing Wellness Retreat and follow God’s plan for recovery. Her latest update of only three days ago reveal that the tumor is continuing to shrink.
QT/QT Discussion led to the recommendation that to avoid the potential of spreading cancer, women should take the thermography test, rather than a mammogram.
