Worship: Called to Be Chosen / Wellness: Cures for Your “-itis”

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  “Many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14). What happened between so many being called and so few being chosen? Something went wrong. Pastor Flemons explains. (Read more below.)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Any “itis” is inflammation, says Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness. Wherever there is inflammation, there is swelling and heat and pain. But there are also simple cures. (Read more below.)

Words of Encouragement

Luke 21:17-18  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

Isaiah 51:3  For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

For Heaven’s Sake…

“Once we are called,” he says, “there is a great work to be done to crucify self so that we can fulfill the mission of the calling. God is going to work with us to prepare us for heaven.” What makes the difference is this: “Are we going to submit to that preparation, or are we going to reject that preparation?”

Inspired commentary adds this:

“Nothing is more essential to communion with God than the most profound humility. ‘I dwell,’ says the High and Holy One, ‘with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit.’ While you are so eagerly striving to be first, remember that you will be last in the favor of God if you fail to cherish a meek and lowly spirit. Pride of heart will cause many to fail where they might have made a success. ‘Before honor is humility,’ and ‘the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.’ ‘When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.’ ‘Many are called, but few are chosen.’ Many hear the invitation of mercy, are tested and proved; but few are sealed with the seal of the living God. Few will humble themselves as a little child, that they may enter the kingdom of heaven.”5T 50.2 (Ellen G. White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p. 50.2)

“There will be no moral changes when Jesus comes,” says Pastor Flemons. We are now daily being changed into whomever we will be when Jesus comes. This is our probation. He shows us ourselves and our need for change. It is up to us to submit to be changed and sealed before Jesus comes.

Revelation 22:11  He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

At that time He will say, “It is done” (Revelation 21:6). He will have finished the work of reviewing all the names of those who are called. He will have determined the chosen–those who can comfortably live with Him in His everlasting kingdom, where neither sin nor affliction will rise a second time. (Read Nahum 1:9.)

For Health’s Sake…

God has provided a storehouse of help for ailing individuals. In that storehouse are cures for all types of “-itises.” Pastor Flemons listed a few: proteolytic enzymes, like bromelain, papain and serapeptase; turmeric; MSM; and colloidal silver. TOR has combined a few of these into one tonic for anti-inflammatory conditions available at this link: https://torwm.org/product/anti-inflammation-tonic-gold-standard/.

Bromelain and papain are powerful anti-inflammatory properties found in pineapple and papaya, respectively. Turmeric has properties similar to golden seal, a powerful anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral herb. Turmeric is less expensive, but it’s just as powerful and has a milder and more pleasing flavor. Also mild and safe to use for arthritic suffers is MSM. But one of the world’s best anti-inflammatory options is colloidal silver, says Pastor Flemons. It is an antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral and safe option; but it can be very expensive. Contact TOR directly for affordable ways to acquire it.
