Please see the property Times of Refreshing is claiming in faith as our new headquarters to save lives and train lifesavers. Then please ask God how you can be blessed to help.
Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Contrary to popular prosperity preaching, the Lord’s prayer includes the phrase, “lead us not into temptation.” Prosperity leads to temptation and too often confusing license with liberty. Ultimately, it can lead the soul away from God. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, discussed the value of eating healthy to the condition of the reproductive system. (Read more below.)
(NOTE: Before following any advice given here, please read our disclaimer on this page.)
Special Prayer was offered for a live call-in listener: 9713. Pray that Teresa and Sewana experience 100% recovery. Pray that the check is written to cover the TOR new headquarters. Pray that someone perfectly suited will care for the mother of Pastor Flemons and Paula on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings.

For Heaven’s Sake…
At first, Solomon only wanted wisdom to lead God’s people. But he began to trust in his wisdom. He thought he could do God’s will his own wise way. He began to confuse license with liberty. He believed that he could make unholy alliances, even marry outside of the faith, and through his wisdom lead the heathen to God. Instead, he was led away from God through close association with heathen practices.
Those who rule over Israel were warned against multiplying wives, multiplying the riches of silver and gold, and multiplying horses (or cars today). Beautiful women numbered by hundreds were brought to Solomon from Egypt, Phoenicia, Edom, Moab, and from many other places. They were idol worshippers. “They had been taught to practice cruel and degrading rites.” Solomon’s “alliances and commercial relations with heathen nations brought him renown, honor, and the riches of this world. He was enabled to bring gold from Ophir and silver from Tarshish in great abundance.” Many people also became wealthy under his reign; but the fine gold of their character was marred.
Little by little Solomon turned his back on God’s commands until he utterly disregarded them. Horses were brought to Solomon from Egypt and all lands. He had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
“Solomon’s course brought its sure penalty. His separation from God through communication with idolaters was his ruin. As he cast off his allegiance to God, he lost the mastery of himself. His moral efficiency was gone. His fine sensibilities became blunted, his conscience seared. He who in his early reign had displayed so much wisdom and sympathy in restoring a helpless babe to its unfortunate mother (see 1 Kings 3:16-28), fell so low as to consent to the erection of an idol to whom living children were offered as sacrifices. He who in his youth was endowed with discretion and understanding, and who in his strong manhood had been inspired to write, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 14:12), in later years departed so far from purity as to countenance licentious, revolting rites connected with the worship of Chemosh and Ashtoreth. He who at the dedication of the temple had said to his people, “Let your heart therefore be perfect with the Lord our God” (1 Kings 8:61), became himself an offender, in heart and life denying his own words. He mistook license for liberty. He tried—but at what cost!—to unite light with darkness, good with evil, purity with impurity, Christ with Belial.PK 57.2
“From being one of the greatest kings that ever wielded a scepter, Solomon became a profligate, the tool and slave of others. His character, once noble and manly, became enervated and effeminate. His faith in the living God was supplanted by atheistic doubts. Unbelief marred his happiness, weakened his principles, and degraded his life. The justice and magnanimity of his early reign were changed to despotism and tyranny. Poor, frail human nature! God can do little for men who lose their sense of dependence upon Him.PK 58.1

For Health’s Sake…
Those with reproductive issues like fibroids, endometriosis, breast cancer, uterine cancer, ovarian cancer, enlarged prostate or prostate cancer can save their lives by following God’s word with regard to diet and health. We call it the REFRESHING Way. The R is Rely on God. It was discussed earlier. The E is Eat Healthy. That’s our current topic.
Particularly those who eat the flesh of animals need to know that animals naturally have estrogen in their tissues just like humans. In more recent years, excessive amounts of hormones have been pumped into animals. Particularly estrogen has been pumped into animals to cause rapid development to meet the demands of the market. That’s why the breasts of the chicken grow large. That’s why cows are producing more milk. Therefore, excess estrogen is consumed by humans through eating chicken, turkey, beef, lamb, eggs, and cheese.
These same hormones cause rapid cell development within the reproductive areas of the body. Since breast cancer is mostly developed through the ducts that supply milk to the breasts, there is a high risk for breast cancer in women. Men have a high intensity, very potent type of testosterone, called dihydrotestosterone, abbreviated DHT. Men only need a small amount of it. The excess estrogen, however, stimulates the overproduction of this highly potent form of testosterone. This leads to prostate problems: enlargement and cancer. Amazingly, the conventional hormone treatment is estrogen. As a result, men become feminized. The breasts of men grow like those in women. Obviously, that is not the answer.
We need to alkalinize our bodies. That means we need to be eating alkaline foods: primarily fruits and vegetables, and nuts, like almonds and Brazil nuts. This will help to balance the blood. “We need to educate and not medicate,” says Pastor Flemons.
Juice vegetables like kale, spinach, carrots, beets, parsley with a Granny Smith apple, and add ginger and lemon juice. This combination is highly nutritious and tasty and is a great way to begin saving your lives. The remaining portion of the acronym will be discussed this week. Next week we will discuss natural remedies.
Until then, Pastor Flemons recommends hearing the testimonies of women who alkalinized their bodies and overcame their reproductive health challenges. Visit SaveLivesNow.org and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
