Words of Encouragement

Isaiah 66:12   For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

Mark 13:13  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

For Heaven’s Sake…

The powerful Syrians were a scourge to Israel and God allowed it so because Israel had apostasized again and again. But in God’s mercy, Israel was delivered time and again. The Syrian king was certain there must be an enemy in his camp, until he was assured that it was God’s doing. God would inform the prophet Elisha details that would benefit Israel. Determined to capture the prophet, the Syrian King Hazael sent a host of his army to surround Dothan. Terrified, Elisha’s servant asked what should be done.

“‘Fear not,’ was the answer of the prophet; ‘for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.’ And then, that the servant might know this for himself, ‘Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray Thee, open his eyes, that he may see.’ ‘The Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.’ Between the servant of God and the hosts of armed foemen was an encircling band of heavenly angels. They had come down in mighty power, not to destroy, not to exact homage, but to encamp round about and minister to the Lord’s weak and helpless ones. PK 256.4

“God calls upon His faithful ones, who believe in Him, to talk courage to those who are unbelieving and hopeless. Turn to the Lord, ye prisoners of hope. Seek strength from God, the living God. Show an unwavering, humble faith in His power and His willingness to save. When in faith we take hold of His strength, He will change, wonderfully change, the most hopeless, discouraging outlook. He will do this for the glory of His name. PK 260.2

“The lesson is for all in positions of trust. When God opens the way for the accomplishment of a certain work and gives assurance of success, the chosen instrumentality must do all in his power to bring about the promised result. In proportion to the enthusiasm and perseverance with which the work is carried forward will be the success given. God can work miracles for His people only as they act their part with untiring energy. He calls for men of devotion to His work, men of moral courage, with ardent love for souls, and with a zeal that never flags. Such workers will find no task too arduous, no prospect too hopeless; they will labor on, undaunted, until apparent defeat is turned into glorious victory. Not even prison walls nor the martyr’s stake beyond, will cause them to swerve from their purpose of laboring together with God for the upbuilding of His kingdom. PK 263.1”

For Health’s Sake…

The article states this: “Taking antibiotics for an extended period in early to middle adulthood might increase your risk for precancerous growths in your colon, a large study suggests.

“Women who took antibiotics for two weeks or more in their 20s through their 50s were more likely to have colon lesions in their 60s than women who didn’t take the drugs for an extended period, researchers found.

“If not removed, these lesions — called polyps or adenomas — can lead to colon cancer.”

According to this article, it takes only two weeks of antibiotic use to place you at risk. That means anyone between the age of 20 up through the age of 60 is at risk! That’s nearly everyone!

“Chronic use of drug medication for chronic diseases is not God’s way,” says Pastor Flemons. You can use natural antibiotics that have no side effects. You can safely use garlic, echinacea, oil of oregano, and colloidal silver. The natural mineral colloidal silver was in common use prior to the discovery that synthetic antibiotic use could greatly enhance the medical profession. Silver cannot be patented. Synthetic antibiotics can.
God has a better plan. We call it the REFRESHING way lifestyle. The R is Rely on God. The E is Eat Healthy. (Eat a plant-based diet.) The F is Fresh Air. The second R is Rest. (Be in bed by 9:30 pm.) The second E is Exercise. The S is Self-Control. The H is H2O-Drink Water. The I is In the Sun (for vitamin D). The N is Never Give Up. And the G is Give to Others. And your life will be abundantly enhanced and, of course, refreshed.
