Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says 46 million Americans are believed to be in the early stages and headed toward Alzheimer’s disease, according to an NBCNews.com article. Six million are presumed to have it now. Pastor Flemons read the article and advised how to avoid being the next victim. (Read more below.)

QTQT Pastor Flemons responded to a question about leg cramps and said that horse chestnut is one herb that is very valuable to reduce or eliminate leg cramps, frequently experienced by the aged. A question about Deuteronomy 14:11 was discussed. It permits sharing with others or selling to a stranger an animal that dies of itself, which is forbidden to be eaten by the believer.

Words of Encouragement

For Heaven’s Sake…
1. The beast is a nation, according to Daniel 7, as discussed earlier. The Roman Catholic Church is the only church with national status. Because of Vatican City, states the United Nations News Centre, the “Holy See [is] the only religious entity represented among the 193 UN Member States and Palestine, the other non-member observer state.”
2. The beast rises out of the sea. Based on previous studies, we know that this beast is a nation that would arise out of a populated area. The sea is symbolic of peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues, according to Revelation 17:15. Rome, according to Wikipedia, had an estimated population of 50-90 million, which represented 20 percent of the world’s population, and covered nearly 2 million square miles as early as AD 117.
3. The beast is connected to the dragon (or Satan) and the Roman empire. Revelation 12:3-5 and 9 describe Satan as a red dragon with seven heads and ten horns. It is the same beast or nation in power at the birth of Jesus (the child of the woman, the church). That power was pagan Rome.
4. The beast, like the Greeks (see 1 Corinthians 1:22), is obsessed with education and wisdom. The educational system of the Roman Catholic Church is undisputed in its superior global ranking. According to Wikipedia, only Seventh-day Adventists rank competitively, whose “educational system is the second-largest Christian school-system in the world, after the Roman Catholic system.[1][2]”
5. The beast, like the Persians, claims the infallibility of its leaders. Pastor Flemons says that we should remember the stories of Daniel in the lion’s den and Queen Esther. “In both stories, the kings themselves could not change their own decrees though they realized they had made ‘grave’ mistakes. This showcases the pope’s claim of infallibility.” Even though they seem as though they may have changed, they have not. “Remember what Bishop O’Connor said: ‘Religious liberty is merely endured until the opposite can be carried into effect without peril to the Catholic world.'” Their decrees cannot be changed. 6. The beast, like pagan Rome, combines church and state and holds that the church through the state has the power to persecute dissenters. “The Catholic Church is still that same persecuting power that controlled the monarchs, punished heretics and employed force during the Dark Ages.” (How Christ Fulfilled the Law, p. 127) (See also Daniel 3:4-6.)
7. The beast was given power by Rome and Satan. The Roman Catholic Church inherited its power, seat and great authority from pagan Rome (Satan’s representative) in AD 538, when the emperor “Justinian bestowed the title of Pontifex Maximus (Universal Bishop) upon Pope Vigilius, thus making him head of church and state in the sense that all monarchs were to be subject to the rule of the pope.” “Thus the dragon (Satan and pagan Rome) gave this new ‘church-state’ its power, throne, and authority.” (How Christ Fulfilled the Law, p 124)
8. The beast is blasphemous. It holds that it can forgive sin. It holds that it is to be worshiped as God on Earth. (See Mark 2:7 and John 10:33.)
9. The beast reigned 42 prophetic months or 1260 literal years and then would receive a deadly wound but would heal and be wondered after by the whole world. The Roman Catholic Church reigned 1260 years from 538 to 1798. Its power was broken in 1798 and now has healed so that the world is now once again venerating, admiring, bowing to the power of the Catholic Church. (Note: 42 months x 30 days per month = 1260)
“In 1929, the Italian dictator Mussolini reinstated the Catholic Church as a sovereign power, making the Vatican a sovereign country and the pope its head of church and state. This began the healing of the deadly wound. Since then, all the world has indeed been wondering after the beast! The pope gets more attention and draws bigger crowds than the President of the United States or the Queen of England.” (How Christ Fulfilled the Law, p 131)
“The first beast of Revelation 13 is unmistakably the Roman Catholic Church. It could be no other! Even with the attempts of monks to change the historical record, Bible-believing Christians are without excuse, for the message is crystal clear. Thus, this section of Revelation 13 ends with the appeal from God, ‘He that hath ears, let him hear!'” (How Christ Fulfilled the Law, p 133)
It is important that we know this, says Pastor Flemons, because the world is warned against worshiping the beast and from receiving its mark, according to Revelation 14:9-12. He added, “Those who do [worship the beast] (and this will be a final test) will not be saved.”

For Health’s Sake…
Because autopsies have revealed an accumulation of aluminum in the brains of Alzheimer’s victims, Pastor Flemons says you can avoid being the next victim by avoiding baking powder in recipes. It typically contains aluminum. Also avoid aluminum that seeps into foods from the use of aluminum pots and pans. Instead he recommends using stainless steel for cooking. Autopsies have also revealed dyes, like those found in hair dyes, stained in layers on the brain. Dyes, we believe, are also directly connected to Alzheimer’s.
Lifestyle is important. Exercise, he says. Exercise is healthy for blood circulation in the brain. It is critical to maintain brain health to avoid Alzheimer’s disease. And of course, Pastor Flemons recommends that you follow the REFRESHING Way lifestyle.
In response to a question about which herbs can be used to prevent Alzheimer’s disease, Pastor Flemons suggests ginkgo biloba, butcher’s broom, gotu kola, and cayenne pepper. All are excellent herbs for circulation. Cayenne pepper should be used on foods and can be dissolved in hot water and sipped as a tea.
