For Heaven’s Sake…
Isaiah 28:7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

“All error is bad for you, but certain errors are in a class all by themselves. . . There are three primary errors in this class, . . . composing the wine of Babylon: 1. Sunday sacredness; 2. The immortality of the soul; 3. The teaching that Christ did not actually come in the likeness of sinful flesh. HCFL 226
Sunday sacredness has been the topic of many previous discussions. The focus is now on Nos. 2 and 3. “The Catholic Church introduced into Christianity the belief that when we die, we go straight to heaven, hell or purgatory. Most Protestants dropped purgatory out of the equation, for it is nowhere mentioned in Scripture. However, that famous gospel song, “I’ll Fly Away,” is all the proof we need that most Christians believe that death is entrance into heaven. The belief that Jesus did not come in the likeness of sinful flesh lies at the heart of why most Christians are not Commandment-keepers. . . . [T]he erroneous theory is that Christ had an advantage over us, because He did not share our fallen human nature. Therefore, we can never achieve personal victory over sin . . . as did Christ. The Catholic Church introduced this theory into Christendom through the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception. This belief teaches that Mary, not Christ, had a superior, holy nature at birth. Therefore, the child born of her and the Holy Ghost would inherit this nature. Therefore, Catholics pray often to Mary, and she is deified and exalted more than Christ. Protestants have found other excuses to teach that Christ did not have a nature kindred to fallen man. This doctrine is a large part of the reason why Commandment-keeping is not taught in most churches today. The implication is, “You don’t have to keep God’s Commandments, because you can’t!”
“Wine is a perfect symbol of these doctrines, for they truly have stupefied the masses, causing them to dismiss the simplest and plainest declarations of Scripture. . . . We will discuss [in this series] what the Bible really teaches about what happens at death. We will also demystify the doctrine of an eternally burning hell. We will see the connection between death, hell, and the Second Coming of Christ. We will test the [secret] rapture theory and demystify the thousand-year millennium “in one day.” Finally, we will discuss the nature of Christ and its significance to living a victorious life.” HCFL 226, 227

For Health’s Sake…
The tonic is a combination of the herbs in powdered form. A teaspoon or tablespoon of it, stirred in cool water is all you need to do before drinking it down. The tea should be steeped for about 20 minutes in boiled water. Use one tablespoon of the tea for one quart of water. It can be made stronger, depending on the need. Consult with Pastor Flemons for details.
Herbs in the Hyper-10-Shun formula include angelica root, butcher’s broom, gotu kola, hawthorne berries, hibiscus, parsley root, and stevia. These herbs lower blood pressure, relax blood vessels and strengthen the heart. They are either ace inhibitors, beta blockers, calcium channel blockers or diuretics.
