Worship: “Where will you go, if you die?” / Wellness: Clean Liver, Kidneys, Blood, Good Health

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Prophecy is fulfilling so quickly that Jesus may come before you die. But if anyone dies, the Bible is clear about what death really is. (Read more below.)

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that your body has a natural cleansing system. But when it becomes clogged, even it needs cleansing. It needs to be reset. (Read more below.)

QTQT  Pastor Flemons briefly discussed what to do when your body is not handling peas and beans very well. He also discussed how to build the white blood cell count.

Words of Encouragement

Hebrews 13:20, 21  Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Hebrews 13:5, 6  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

For Heaven’s Sake…

The Apostle Paul was clear about death. He called it sleep in 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” It is only after the last trumpet sounds, announcing the literal second coming of Christ that the dead in Christ awakes and is given immortality or eternal life. It will happen to all the dead in Christ at the same time. (Read 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.)

Just as sleep is an unconscious state of mind, so is death. The wise King Solomon spoke of death in like manner in Ecclesiastes 9:5. He said, “The living know that they shall die, but the dead know not anything.” And the Psalmists agree. “The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence” (Psalm 115:17).  “For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?” (Psalm 6:5) The grave of the dead is silence on every level of the senses.

Even Job said, “His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them” (Job 14:21). Speaking of himself at death, Job said, “If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness” (Job 17:13). But as long as he lived, he breathed. Job said, “All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils” (Job 27:3). King Solomon explained what happens to the body and breath of the living at death: “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it” (Ecclesiastes 12:7). The Psalmist agreed, “His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish” (Psalm 146:4).

This sounds so clear, so plain. Just as before birth, we didn’t exist, death brings about a nonexistence. It is a mystery, yet it has been simply put in Scripture. Where did all the confusion come from?

The problem began when Satan told Eve, “Ye shall not surely die.” He told her to disobey God, and she would become like a god, “knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:4, 5). Even today, in various strains, those same lyrics are found in the very songs of Christendom, just as they are found in the doctrines of devils.

“The devil told Eve that when she is dead, she really won’t be dead. That means that she would exist in some other place or in some other state of being. The implication is that in this other place and state, she would have conscious thought, reasoning powers and some type of spiritual existence. . . .It promises a supernatural existence in life and death. It was a lie. And the devil has been spooning out numerous variations of that same lie for thousands of years.” HCFL 230

For Health’s Sake…

The liver is a huge part of the body’s cleansing system. It detoxifies the body. It purifies the blood. It houses part of the body’s immune system. It helps metabolize your macronutrients (your fats, proteins, carbs). Much of the time when you’re sick, it’s because your liver is clogged. It needs your help.

The kidneys are the body’s balancing system. They balance fluids. They balance mineral levels, like calcium and sodium. They keep your bones healthy. And of course, simply put, the life of the flesh is in the blood, according to Leviticus 17:11. If the blood is healthy, chances are everything else is, because blood flows throughout the body system. When the blood is impure, the whole body is negatively affected. You need to help your body function properly.

First, check to learn what you are doing that is clogging your liver and kidneys and poisoning your blood. Are you stressing out over life, rather than relying on God and His word? Are you eating the flesh of dead animals? Are you consuming animal byproducts, like dairy and eggs? Are you eating between meals? Are you drinking with your meals? Are you mixing fruits and vegetables in the same meal? Are you going to bed on undigested meals? Are you going to bed on time? Are you getting exercise and fresh air? Are you avoiding harmful things and doing in moderation those things that are good? And are you consistent and even kind to others? If not, change your diet and lifestyle. Embrace total wellness.

“Biblical wellness includes a component that is called cleansing. You’ve gotta get the toxins out of your system. You’ve gotta get the poisons out of your body,” says Pastor Flemons. The REFRESHING Way lifestyle always is helpful in overcoming disease and is useful in preventing disease. He highly recommends adopting this lifestyle for robust health and helping to reset your body when needed.

Nevertheless, Times of Refreshing’s Internal Cleanse Tea/Tonic has been designed to cleanse your liver, kidneys and blood. It contains barberry root, burdock root, dandelion root, echinacea, milk thistle, yellow dock, uva ursi and stevia. The Bible says herbs are for healing. And these herbs will help heal and reset your body.
