Worship: For Heaven’s Sake God spoke mouth-to-mouth to Moses, a prophet with singular status. Most other prophets did not receive messages from God this way, says Pastor Flemons. But when it came to the Law of God, given at Mount Sinai, it was spoken directly to Moses and to the people. It was the greatest introduction of His Law ever. They heard every WORD. For Heaven’s Sake…
“‘Mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke because the Lord descended on it in fire; and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. . .and the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder,’ so that all the people trembled. Exodus 19:17-19. This manifestation of divine power and glory indicated that God had something of great importance to say to His people.
“Out of the cloud, a voice like a trumpet blast was heard. Exodus 19:16. ‘Christ and the Father, standing side by side. . .proclaimed God’s divine law, the Ten Commandments.’ HS 231; Ex 20:1-17. Because of the fiery display about the cloud, Moses fittingly declared, ‘From His right hand went a fiery law.’ Deut. 33:2. So terrible was the sight and so awe-inspiring God’s voice that even Moses said, ‘I exceedingly fear and quake.’ Heb. 12:21. Never before, since the voice of the Eternal spoke the worlds into existence, had there been a more sublime scene. The Ten Commandments, spoken by God’s own voice from Mount Sinai, Ex. 19:9; 29:22, was Jehovah’s fundamental law, the constitution, for the government of the nation and the church which at this time He organized. PP 303. This is the only time that with audible voice God ever addressed His assembled people on earth. . .” PTG 15, 16.
God’s Ten Commandments are broad principles that cover every aspect of human life. God is the LORD, our GOD (Luke 6:46; Mark 12:29). That means, says Pastor Flemons, that God is our Governor, our King. We must recognize Him as our Great Commander: our Supreme Commander. He is able to be the Great Commander, because He is the Great Deliverer from bondage to sin–both public and private sins. (Read Exodus 20:1, 2.)
Therefore, God requires our worship (Exodus 20:3). So does Satan–through any means (2 Thessalonians 2:4). Only God, however, has earned it, because He is our Deliverer. His tender mercies are everlasting, and they are new every morning. But He is no enabler for people to continue in bondage to sin, says Pastor Flemons. An enabler tries to stop the consequences of one’s poor choices, rather than to step back and allow the natural consequences to occur, so that someone can truly be helped to overcome bad habits. What God does is enable us to do His Commands, if we are willing. Our greatest expression of loving worship is perfect obedience to His Commandments.
“The physical, mental, and moral powers are the endowments of God, and are to be appreciated and cultivated. We are here on probation, in training for the higher life. All heaven is waiting to co-operate with those who will be subordinate to the ways and will of God. God gives grace, and he expects all to use it. He supplies the power if the human mind feels any need or any disposition to receive. He never asks us to do anything without supplying the grace and power to do that very thing. All his biddings are enablings.” {RH November 9, 1897, par. 5}
“That is the God we want to introduce you to today,” says Pastor Flemons. There is none greater.

For Health’s Sake…
Pastor Flemons says that flu shots are dangerous, anyway, and we should not be dependent on the government for our health. He says that human fetal tissue from partially aborted babies have been found in flu shots, as well as mercury and other substances that should not be injected into humans.
Instead of the flu shot, it is better to eat a whole organic lemon, which helps to build the immune system. Building up your immune system is the key to staying healthy–not vaccines, which carry the disease itself. Rocket fuel is better than the flu shot. And having a whole foods, plant-based diet, as well as living the REFRESHING Way lifestyle, will carry you a long way toward being immune to disease. The REFRESHING Way lifestyle is an authentic prevention plan.
The shutdown of the government should never hurt your personal health. We all should be concerned, however, about people whose income will be affected, he says, and pray for them.
