Worship: For Heaven’s Sake The forgiveness of a life of sin is a process called justification. It begins with a sinner responding to the pleadings and wooings of the Holy Spirit. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, shared a healthnews.com article that supports what he has always taught at Times of Refreshing: that fruits and vegetables and herbs are better than drugs. (Read more below.)

Words of Encouragement
Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow to it.
Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. (Read also DA 331.)
For Heaven’s Sake…
As the sinner responds, he enters the courtyard of the sanctuary, where the lamb is sacrificed. The lamb represents Jesus, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. (Read John 1:29.) As the sinner confesses past sins, God “is faithful and just to forgive us our sins” (1 John 1:9).
“When we confess our sins and accept the sacrifice, Christ takes the sin upon Himself and suffers their penalty while the sinner goes free. ‘If therefore the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.’ John 8:36; Gal. 5:1. ‘He is reconciled (to God) by the death of His Son.’ Rom. 5:10. ‘Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (a reconciliation) through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.’ Rom. 3:25. This is the first step in justification, symbolized in the court of the earthly sanctuary.”

For Health’s Sake…
Researchers have now concluded that the “herbal and fruit supplement (Ojamin) is better at managing diabetes than Metformin,” a drug typically prescribed for treating diabetes. However, “those who take Metformin often pay the price in terms of side effects and the higher risk of mortality that comes from taking it alongside insulin. Moreover, one out of every seven patients is unable to tolerate this medication due to its effects on the kidneys,” the article states.
Ojamin, on the other hand, “contains the aqueous extracts of 14 different herbs, which include Gooseberries, Fenugreek, Bael, Turmeric, Haritaki, Java Plus, Neem, Basil, Okra, Blueberry Extract, and Watermelon Seeds.” “Ojamin is free from GMOs, pesticides, additives, and sugars, and it can be taken as a capsule or a tonic.” The “Indian herb and fruit supplement is not only effective at managing type 2 diabetes, but it actually works better when used alone than in combination with Metformin.” The article also reports that Ojamin has “few side effects” and a lower cost than synthetic drugs.
As FB viewer Annette Gillam puts it, healing not just management is possible. “If one trust in God, eat and drink- live a lifestyle according to God in all ways, one can be HEALED by the POWER OF GOD… thus the lifestyle of living by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God brings healing and health not merely “management.”
Times of Refreshing’s herbal preparation, Diabetez, is available as a tea or tonic. It contains dandelion root, golden seal, raspberry leaf, uva ursi, elecampane, juniper berries, and Stevia. And the biblical lifestyle plan includes relying on God; eating healthy; getting fresh air, rest, exercise and water; using self-control; never giving up; and giving to others. We call it the REFRESHING Way lifestyle.
