Worship: For Heaven’s Sake “The ark is called ‘the ark of the covenant,’ Num. 10:33; Heb. 9:4, because in it was placed the covenant, the ‘tables of stone’ that God gave to Moses. Ex. 25:16; 31:18. Christ is called ‘the Messenger of the covenant,’ Mal. 3:1, or ‘the Angel of the Covenant’ PP 252 because when He gave the law at Sinai, He was God’s messenger, doing the will of the Father.”
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil” (Matthew 5:17). Jesus made it plain that nothing would ever be removed from the Law. The Law of God is eternal. Breaking that Law is sinful, “for sin is the transgression of the law” (1 John 3:4). The penalty for committing sin is death. (See Romans 6:23.) Jesus paid the ultimate price for man’s sin that He might redeem mankind from not only the wages of sin but from the power of sin. “Jesus came to save man from, not in, sin. Therefore we can praise God, the Shekinah Glory,” says Pastor Flemons.
He agrees with Sarah Peck, author of Path to the Throne of God, that “The word shekinah is not found in the Bible. It is used by both Jews and Christians to express the visible majesty of Jehovah, especially when dwelling between the cherubim on the mercy seat. . . . Literally, the word shekinah means dwelling place.”

Wellness: For Health’s Sake Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, reviewed a portion of Garrick Dee’s article published on the site juicingwithg.com. The article, “9 Health Benefits of Juicing,” essentially says that juicing allows your body to absorb more nutrients and a wider range of nutrients than you could eat in a meal. Juicing feeds good bacteria to the gut, where actually 70 percent of the immune system is located. Juicing helps fight cancer and cholesterol. Juicing helps to detoxify the body, while it also lowers blood sugar and improves the skin. When root vegetables, especially the beet, is included in the juicing, athletic performance is also enhanced.
“Juicing is no gimmick!” regardless of what you may hear to the contrary. Pastor Flemons has more than 20 years of experience in juicing for health. He has seen the benefits of juicing firsthand. “Fifteen million” so-called studies that conclude the contrary will never change his mind about the huge benefits of juicing to reverse disease and save life. He says, “You need to juice.”
