Worship: Financial Reform, Where Is the Storehouse? / Wellness: Starving on a Full Stomach

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  Financial reform follows talks on Bible reform, the Spirit of Prophecy reform, Sanctuary reform, Sabbath reform, Worship reform, and Country Living reform in the series “Preparation for the Final Crisis.”

Financial reform involves returning tithes and offerings to the storehouse. And God does have a storehouse, says Pastor Flemons. The question is Where is it. The simple answer? It is where His meat is. Jesus said that His meat is to do the will of His Father God. (Read John 4:34.) Then those who are teaching, doing, and living the truth is where the storehouse is, says Pastor Flemons.

Among the disciples of Jesus, Judas, the traitor, was the treasurer. (Read John 12:3-6 and John 13:29.) Although Jesus had a mismanaging treasurer in Judas, says Pastor Flemons, at least you see that in the ministry of Jesus and the disciples, the right things were being done. There is no question about that.

Nevertheless, the ministry of Jesus was not being supported by the conference of His day. John 7:1 reveals that Jesus was a self-supporting minister, says Pastor Flemons. In fact, he says, that Jesus was no longer part of Jewry, the officially recognized organization or conference of His day. The storehouse is not merely the conference, he says. Self-supporting ministers, those teaching present truth, ought to be supported, just as was Jesus.

More recently, God instructed His servant Sis. Ellen G. White, to appropriate tithes where most needed to do a work for the Lord. Pastor Flemons read a couple of supporting statements and offered to share many more as requested. The bottom line is that financial reform includes returning tithes and offerings where the work is being done and where support for finishing the work is being neglected.

Worship: For Health’s Sake  Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, says that you can actually starve on a full stomach. When you eat largely of processed foods, including refined bread, rather than whole foods, you are missing the nutrition that your body cells require. A good portion of what the body requires is live foods, says Pastor Flemons.

That would be foods in the most natural or nearest its natural state. Eat raw foods, foods from the ground, he says. That would be fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and nuts. These are whole foods, live foods, unprocessed healthy foods. It is worthy of note, however, that since the soil may itself be depleted of nutrients, all organic foods may not even be highly nutritious. Therefore, says Pastor Flemons, to be on the safe side, it is best to juice and drink your vegetables at least every other day.

Special Prayer  Please include in your prayers listener 3039, who needs prayer for herself as she goes through some tests and for her children.

One of our faithful listeners texted this message requesting your prayers: “Please add my family to the prayer list. I have three daughters, all of whom are single heads of household. Each recently became unemployed and are now now facing eviction. My heart is heavy for them as I see them struggling so hard to keep their heads above water and their respective children fully sustained. I am requesting prayer for their financial and housing security, and also for increased protection against the demonic attack that is under way against my family. Thank you.”

Also pray for Sis. Audrey’s sister (her father’s firstborn) who had a procedure done for blood clots in one leg yesterday and will have the other one done in a few weeks.

Please pray for one who wants to make the right lifestyle changes, wants a fuller knowledge of present truth, and wants the ability and confidence to share it with others.
