Worship – For Heaven Sake – What God Thinks About You
Jer. 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
God declares that He knows His own thoughts. On the surface that might not be so impressive, but when you remember that the Bible declares that we don’t know our own hearts perfectly.
Jer. 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Therefore it is a big deal for God to know His own thoughts toward us. His thoughts are influences by any negative bias or prejudice as are our thoughts about others or ourselves.
Either, we tend to think more highly of ourselves than we ought and this is called arrogance. It is a type of pride. Or, we tend to think of our selves with less value than God estimates. This is called low self esteem and it is also a form of pride. In both scenarios, the emphasis is all about “ME.” We cannot have peace when we dwell on ourselves. We have peace when our thoughts remain with God in the Most Holy Place.
Is. 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
So, God says that His th0ughts of us are thoughts of peace. That means that he wants us to have peace. That means that He wants us always to keep our minds stayed on Him.
In order to have perfect peace, we must always be obedient, for disobedience.
Psa. 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
Therefore God wants us to constantly dwell on His lovely character and be obedient to His law.
What is the expected end?
3John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Mark 10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
Phil. 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Sharing and Caring Spiritual Thought
Sharing and Caring Spiritual Thought
We are dependent upon the Holy Spirit for every aspect of our life.
We are told in John 14:26 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Eph. 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
1Th. 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.
Here is a copy of the cleansing prayer
- 1. Begin your prayer by praising God, offering thanksgiving to Him by naming specific blessings you have received, especially during the last 24 hours.
- 2. Ask our heavenly father to reveal any sin; hurtful memories; negative, sinful behavior; thoughts; feelings; or motives that you may be harboring in your heart. Wait quietly before him allowing him to speak to your heart.
- 3. Once he has revealed your sin or painful emotions, confess these by claiming his blood to cover the sin and heal your painful emotions.
- 4. Ask Jesus to cleanse your memories of the sin or painful emotions.
- 5. Ask Jesus to cleanse you to the third and fourth generation where the tendency to this sin may have been passed on through your lineage.
- 6. Ask Jesus to cleanse you from sin and remove the painful emotions from your amygdala.
- 7. Ask Jesus to cleanse your record from the sin and the memory of it.
- 8. Ask to be covered by the perfection of Christ’s life. You may find Scriptures that reveal the way He acted and felt in a similar situation.
- 9. Ask Jesus to blot out the sin and put it upon the head of the scapegoat (Satan).
- 10. At this point in your prayer, it is important for you to ask Jesus to cast out every demon that is responsible for leading you into the sin you have confessed and renounced.
Beware of Fanaticism and False Miracle Workers
“Why,” asks one and another, “is not prayer offered for the miraculous healing of the sick, instead of so many sanitariums being established?” Should this be done, great fanaticism would arise in our ranks.” Ev. 594
Said Christ: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” { ST February 26, 1885, par. 7 }
These may profess to be followers of Christ, but they have lost sight of their Leader. They may say, “Lord, Lord;” they may point to the sick who are healed through them, and to other marvelous works, and claim that they have more of the Spirit and power of God than is manifested by those who keep his law. But their works are done under the supervision of the enemy of righteousness, whose aim it is to deceive souls, and are designed to lead away from obedience, truth, and duty. In the near future there will be still more marked manifestations of this miracle-working power; for it is said of him, “and he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.” { ST February 26, 1885, par. 8 }
