Every generation sealed by the sabbath

Every Generation Sealed By the Sabbath

The Sabbath has been important to God’s church in every generation. It was given to the church of the outer court, the Hebrew church, as it was announced on Mount Sinai. It continued and was divested of the errors that crept in with tradition in the Christian church by Christ when He came to earth. The Sabbath was confirmed to the remnant in the three angels messages. The Sabbath will also be the seal of God in the church of the firstborn as we will meet every Sabbath to worship God according to Isa. 66:23.

Is. 8:16   Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

Ex. 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.  14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.  15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.  16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.  17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Rev. 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Rev. 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Gen. 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

One of natures finest gifts to man is oranges. It is predigested food in a delicious and attractive form. It is a good source of vitamin A, vitamin C, thiamine, iron and potassium.

Orange juice increase peristalsis and thus reverses constipation. It is also a great beverage for those with fever. Orange juice has alkaline salts that help to reverse disease causing acidosis. It is also a great food for bottle fed babies.

Sharing And Caring

But if we would enter the city of God, and look upon Jesus in His glory, we must become accustomed to beholding Him with the eye of faith here. The words and the character of Christ should be often the subject of our thoughts and of our conversation; and each day some time should be especially devoted to prayerful meditation upon these sacred themes. { MYP 114.1} Messages To Young People p. 114.

Looking unto Jesus we obtain brighter and more distinct views of God, and by beholding we become changed. Goodness, love for our fellow men, becomes our natural instinct. We develop a character which is the counterpart of the divine character. Growing into His likeness, we enlarge our capacity for knowing God. Christ Object Lessons p. 355

The pure in heart live as in the visible presence of God during the time He apportions them in this world. And they will also see Him face to face in the future, immortal state, as did Adam when he walked and talked with God in Eden. “Now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face.” 1 Corinthians 13:12. { MB 27.1} Thoughts From The Mount of Blessing, p. 27

We behold the image of God reflected, as in a mirror, in the works of nature and in His dealings with men; but then we shall see Him face to face, without a dimming veil between. We shall stand in His presence and gaze upon the glory of His countenance. { SR 432.1} The Story of Redemption p. 432
