the lamb’s bride by pastor Shelem flemons

Throughout the Bible, the church is referred to as the bride of Christ. However, the bride is also named as New Jerusalem. Sometimes in the bible the people of God are called guests at the wedding when it refers to the judgment. It appears that the city is the bride and that God’s people adorn the empty city and thus they are also referred to as being married to Christ.
Is. 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
Jer. 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
2Cor. 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
Eph. 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
New Jerusalem is called the bride of Christ.
Rev. 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev. 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
The Marriage Supper of The Lamb
Rev. 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Rev. 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

According to the Jethro Kloss, several diseases can be treated with lemon juice. For diphtheria, use straight lemon juice as a gargle, or swab the area with a Q-tip. Then swallow some of the juice until the membrane breaks loose.
Use full strength lemon juice or dilute it 50% with water to treat a sore throat.
For a foot corn, place a slice of lemon on the corn and wrap into place. This will relieve the pain.
A slice of lemon placed on an abcess and secured will often bring pus to the surface where it can easily be removed.
To treat asthma, take 1 Tablespoon of lemon juice one hour before each meal.
For liver complaints, add lemon juice to hot water and take one hour before breakfast.
To treat the flu, submerge the feet and legs in hot water, and keep the water as hot as the person can stand it for 20 – 30 minutes. Making sure the body is not chilled with a draft, help the person back into bed. Every hour give the person a glass of warm water with the juice of one lemon. Continue the lemon water regimen until the symptoms subside.
1 teaspoon of lemon juice in warm water will relieve heartburn.
If the bowels are not ulcerated, lemon juice is good to relieve fevers.
For arthritis, take 1 – 2 ounces of diluted lemon juice three times a day one hour before meals and at bedtime.

Sharing and Caring by Maria Flemons
Daily prayer is as essential to growth in grace, and even to spiritual life itself, as is temporal food to physical well-being. We should accustom ourselves to often lift the thoughts to God in prayer. If the mind wanders, we must bring it back; by persevering effort, habit will finally make it easy. Messages To Young People, p. 115
Gird up the loins of your mind, says the apostle; then control your thoughts, not allowing them to have full scope. The thoughts may be guarded and controlled by your own determined efforts. Adventist Home, p. 54

However great one’s spiritual light, however much he may enjoy of the divine favor and blessing, he should ever walk humbly before the Lord, pleading in faith that God will direct every thought and control every impulse. Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 421
God would have you trust in His love, and be constantly guarding your soul by locking the gate of your thoughts, that they shall not become unmanageable. Sons and Daughters of God, p. 298
