Worship: For Heaven’s Sake We (anyone of us) can have the guidance of Divine Intelligence throughout our lifetime. No one need fail. But we must trust and obey God. The choice is ours. (Read more below.)
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, taught the principle of obeying all the laws of health. James 2:10 says that if we fail to obey all the laws of God, or if we omit one of them and obey all the others, it is as though we have disobeyed them all. The same is true with the laws of health. Pastor Flemons explained. (Read more below.)

Special Prayer for call-in listener 1919 (Please pray for her heavy heart today. She is asking prayer for her friends who have lost loved ones: Lorian Hobbs lost her daughter Brittani, and Karen Seawood lost her brother just this morning, around broadcast time. She is also asking prayer for TOR and much prayer for her family, her children, her husband and herself. Also, please pray for the children she is working with who “have so many challenges.”)
Remember to continue praying for the entire TOR broadcast family, that GOD will be free to bless us in the way that HE really wants to in 2018. Thank you.

Words of Encouragement
2 Peter 3:8, 9 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward; not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:13, 14 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
For Heaven’s Sake…
As the sanctuary symbolizes the Christian experience–from repentance to sanctification to glorification–so we have been given precious promises of divine guidance. “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalm 32:8). “The eye represents understanding,” says Pastor Flemons, referring to Ephesians 1:18 and the wisdom and understanding of an omniscient God. Those who will be guided and taught the way are described as “the meek,” according to Psalm 25:9. The meek, says Pastor Flemons are those who show grace or “humility under fire.” Fire refers to the trials of life.
The promise of divine guidance continues until all truth has been revealed or unto the end. “Howbeit,” says John 16:13, “when the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth (emphasis supplied): for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” Jesus gave instruction to His disciples for all time. Then He promised His very own presence: “I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28:20).
For Health’s Sake…
The laws of health are listed below and are easily memorized, using the TOR acronym REFRESHING:
R – Rely on God. Trust God to relieve the pressures, strains and stresses of life.
E – Eat healthy. Eat a total plant-based diet of nuts, grains, fruits and vegetables. Keep it free of the flesh of dead animals and their byproducts, like dairy and eggs. Minimize sugary foods. Eat two to no more than three meals daily, spaced five hours apart. Make your final meal about 4 to 5 hours prior to bedtime.
F – Fresh air. Get fresh air daily and through the night hours of rest.
R – Rest. Get to bed nightly by 9:30. The hours before midnight are twice as beneficial as those afterward.
E – Exercise. Exercise an hour per day. Walking is best.
S – Self-control. Use self-control in all things, by avoiding all things that are harmful and do only in moderation those things that are good.
H – H2O, Drink Water. Drink half your body’s weight in ounces every day. But drink only between meals, leaving about an hour between meals and drinking. Increase your daily water intake, if you are more active or talk more than average.
I – In the sun. Expose at least your hands and face to the sun a minimum of 20 minutes every day.
N – Never give up! Be consistent.
G – Give to others. Don’t be selfish. Share your time, your talent, your resources to lighten someone else’s burden.
If you fail in any of these points, your health can be negatively affected, except for the mercies of God.
