Worship: The Ark and Ten Commandments, Where Are They? / Wellness: Endometriosis Remedies

Worship: For Heaven’s Sake  The ark with its sacred treasure remained unmolested beneath the mercy seat in the Most Holy Place of the sanctuary, until 606 BC, when Babylon captured Jerusalem. “At that time righteous men, under the faithful witness of Jeremiah, ‘determined to place beyond the reach of ruthless hands the sacred ark containing the tables of stone. . . .With mourning and sadness they secreted the ark in a cave, where it was to be hidden from the people of Israel and Judah because of their sins, and was to be no more restored to them.’ PK 453.” (PTG)

The ark itself, we believe, was recently located in a cave by a now-deceased biblical archeologist, Ron Wyatt. However, his efforts to photograph it were unsuccessful. Still, it is possible to hear him via a recording featured at WyattMuseum.com and there to read his wife’s article recounting the experience.

Since the Ten Commandments were written with the finger of God and is the standard by which all men, good and bad, shall be judged (James 2:12), evidently, God “divinely transported” it to the Most Holy Place in Heaven. He will produce it at the appointed time during Judgment, “just as He wrote them.” (RH March 26, 1908, par. 6)  Also, a scene is described at the end of the thousand-year period, when “New Jerusalem comes down to be located on the new earth.” “There appears against the sky a hand holding two tables of stone folded together like a book.” EW 32; GC 668. “‘The hand opens the tables, and there are seen the precepts of the decalogue, traced as with a pen of fire.'” GC 639.

[For additional details, please read Prophets and Kings (PK 453), the Great Controversy (GC 24, 639 and 668), as well as “Where Is the Ark Now?” and “Where Are the Tables of Stone?” in Path to the Throne of God, by Sarah Elizabeth Peck. (PTG 166, 167 original. PTG 227, 228 new edition. PTG 127 online.) Also, listen to the recording to hear the commentary of Pastor Flemons and hear him sing Hymn 202, “Hail Him the King of Glory.”]

Wellness: For Health’s Sake  Shelem Flemons, a doctor of biblical wellness, reviewed a VeryWellHealth.com article that lists seven natural ways of treating endometriosis. “A chronic, often painful condition in which the tissue that normally lines the uterus (called the endometrium) starts growing outside the uterus,” “endometriosis affects 5.5 million women in the United States and Canada, and millions more worldwide.”

Endometriosis typically will extend the pain of periods beyond the days of actual flow. And the areas of pain extend beyond the abdomen to include the lower back and legs with shooting pains along the sciatic nerve. Other symptoms can include the following:

  • Heavy menstrual periods or bleeding in between periods
  • Fatigue
  • Indigestion, diarrhea, constipation, and nausea
  • Infertility. Endometriosis can cause adhesions that trap the egg.

Although the article suggests seven ways of responding to the condition, Pastor Flemons says the first thing to do is to feast on fresh leafy green vegetable juice. Regardless of the chosen greens, add fresh lemon juice, a Granny Smith apple and a bit of fresh ginger to make the juice palatable. Then follow the article’s suggestions of 1. reducing your chemical intake; 2. including vegetables and flaxseeds (or chia seeds) in your diet; 3. applying progesterone cream to the wrists, inner arms, inner thighs and upper chest; 4. taking omega-3 fatty acids; 5. reducing stress; 6. including hydrotherapy and 7. ginger tea as part of your regimen.
