Worship: For Heaven’s Sake This morning’s broadcast featured Pastor Shelem Flemons with a devotional thought from Ezekiel 36:21-27. If your past gets thrown up in your face to your hurt, learn what GOD wants you to know.
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pam Ingham of Bermuda very briefly shared the story of her husband, Larry. Fighting multiple myeloma, a disease of the bone marrow, they went to Times of Refreshing with a do-or-die attitude. And thank God they did.

For Heaven’s Sake…
The reality of your inefficiencies, your weaknesses and shortcomings can crush you if you focus on them and allow others to remind you of your ugly and embarrassing past. But you may take heart and be encouraged that in you, if you are willing, GOD promises to sanctify His great name that the heathen may know that He is the LORD GOD. They will know this when HE is sanctified in you before their eyes.
He promises to give you a new heart and a new spirit. He promises to take away the stony heart from you and give you a heart of flesh. He promises to give you HIS spirit and cause you to walk in His statutes and keep His judgments and do them. He promises to do all this for HIS glory. No person can be given or receive the glory. All the glory belongs to HIM.
For Health’s Sake…
They had spent $50,000 for various treatments, including radiation therapy since May 2015. Larry was recently released to Hospice with holes in all of his bones, doctors told them. But for less than ten percent of that amount, they went to a Times of Refreshing Wellness Retreat with a hemoglobin level of 4.1. People are usually hospitalized in intensive care with such levels, Pastor Flemons said.
The last couple of months, Larry’s movements were extremely limited. He was hardly drinking, barely eating anything, and walking only to the bathroom once daily. His health had rapidly declined. Crying out to GOD, Pam asked for help. Then a Times of Refreshing Wellness Seminar was held in Bermuda in April 2016. Pam learned more about the ministry she had only heard about in previous years.
Her sister-in-law had been a guest at Times of Refreshing years ago. She told Pam of being barely able to walk upon arrival to walking by the time she left Times of Refreshing. Her father-in-law also told of his wonderful experience of being at Times of Refreshing.
Taking a leap of faith, Pam and Larry came to Times of Refreshing only 17 days ago. Larry is now eating portions of two meals daily. He could not before arriving. He is now drinking juices and walking longer distances and more frequently.
Praising GOD for the wonderful experience at Times of Refreshing and thanking Pastor Flemons and personnel, Pam rushed out to be taken to the airport for their flight back to Bermuda. A special prayer session was immediately held for them during the broadcast.
In Bermuda, they will need assistance, as Pam must return to work. Our prayer is that GOD will impress those who can, to faithfully devote their time to assist this wonderful couple on their road to recovery. He was severely bent over upon arrival, but now he sits upright and walks upright. It is a wonderful change and a beautiful sight to behold. “He still has a long way to go,” said Pastor Flemons. “He still is in pain. But right now, we cannot conclude that he is dying.” He was when he arrived.
