Worship: For Heaven’s Sake This morning’s broadcast revealed two primary views of the meaning of 666 in Revelation 13:18. For one, the pope’s mitre bears a title: Vicarius Filii Dei, Latin for Vicar or Representative of the Son of God. In Roman numerals, Vicarius Filii Dei adds up to 666. Pastor Flemons warned that every word be tested by the authority of the Scriptures. Even Christ asked the same in John 7:17. Secondly and interestingly, the only other Bible texts that mention the number 666 are in the Old Testament: 1 Kings 10:14 and 2 Chronicles 9:13. They both refer to “the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year.”
Wellness: For Health’s Sake Pastor Flemons provided guidelines in healing ulcers: no raw foods (temporarily), cabbage juice, slippery elm and aloe vera, enzymes, soft cooked foods, a colon cleanse, and patience for 2 weeks to one month.
Q&A Discussion centered around the coming crisis. Like Venezuela, America is headed for an economic and religious freedom crisis. Preparing for it involves growing our own produce, having a water source, and a generator, which means living in the the country. But we are warned in 2 Corinthians 10:4 that “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal” Guns are not the answer in this war. The war is spiritual.
