In the presentation, Pastor Flemons expounded on some key points, including the following:
We need to give GOD charge of our lives.
We need to know what kind of glasses we are wearing. Our background and education color our perspectives.
We must understand that simply being a vegetarian does not make us holy; but it does help us be better able to discern the voice of God.
We must understand that Satan’s strongest hold on man is through appetite. Knowing his strategy gives us great advantage.
We must trust that “the key is in the food.” Pastor Flemons shared a personal story to illustrate the point.
We should ask ourselves this question about medication: How can something that makes a well man sick, make a sick person well?
We build confidence on one of two methods: Letter versus the Word. Conducting a test, Pastor Flemons demonstrated how the brain naturally defaults to the word, where there is no resistance, unless there is hypnosis.
We can trust that the gospel commission is a Master Card. It is a Black Card with no expiration date.
We must ever keep the cross of Christ before us in all things. The flow of blood and water from the side of Christ was evidence of a broken heart. Pastor Flemons explains how we can know that to be true.
