Worship: For Heaven’s Sake Pastor Flemons gave two examples of religious liberty challenges. He presented the story of Cain and Abel and the story of the flood and noted that any force, such as peer pressure, is a challenge to religious liberty. Abel’s and Noah’s obedience to God angered Cain and amused the world, respectively. In the story of Noah, we learned how, although the whole world witnessed the building of the ark, only eight people went into the ark and were saved. Pastor Flemons pointed out that the majority is rarely right in religious liberty matters. Read Genesis 4:1-8; 6:5-8; and 1 Peter 3:20.
